I was trying to follow these instructions: https://help.twitter.com/en/managing-your-account/link-twitter-to-facebook. After disabling UBlock and changing Tracking Protection to be enabled for Private Tabs only, while I no longer see the error: "Failed to load the Facebook SDK. Please make sure you are not blocking connect.facebook.net." However, I still get this message next to the Facebook icon: "Having trouble? Learn more." (Link for Learn more text: https://support.twitter.com/articles/31113.) Refreshing the page changes nothing. This thread didn't help: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1130053. privacy.trackingprotection.enabled was already on false (at least after changing Tracking Protection to be enabled for Private Tabs only).

Hi, I have the 'check my spelling as I type' ticked under advanced settings in Firefox browser... but the words are not being spell checked when I use Facebook. Any idea how to get it working? Kind regards Josh

When I click with right mouse button on some facebook videos it doesn't show me options to copy link and etc. It only shows settings for the flash player. how can I fix this?

When playing a video in background / different tab, the picture (screen) freezes after a few seconds, while sound still going on. It can be resolved by moving over the video picture with mouse cursor again, but it is nagging... Any idea what causes this? I noticed it in Youtube, but also Facebook videos...

On Facebook,Cookie Jam downloads and says you have upgraded and it want play on new version. They suggest Google Chrome. I do not want that to become my default. I like Firefox and Thunderbird. Should I go to Facebook's game room? I am very particular about what I download. I have Windows 7 that I use for games and Facebook and e-mail. Help!!! Do I need to upgrade flash? Thanks ES

the facebook is loading without javascript and css. I tried view source and clicked one of the css link and found that it was blocked

So i am not able to use facebook anymore.

Running Windows XP sp2. Firefox 5.0 (latest), Adobe Flash Player 23.0.0.207 (latest). I completely removed and re-installed both Firefox and Flash Player since the problem started. I still have the problem.

On Facebook, I am no longer able to play the videos. It was working. I have had this problem before and was able to fix it by updating Flash Player, but that did not work this time. It appears that plugin-container is trying to start, but failing. There is not error message.

The rate at whole system crashes has more or less stayed the same but this is a new glitch.

Recently Amazon crashes (a tab only, therefore no error report) on first keystroke on the password field. EVERY TIME Same goes on Facebook, the tab, and only the tab crashes on load if the messenger app is opened. Only happens with messenger open.

Since this is a tab crash, I can't see reports. If you want to see the settings I run, look at the link above, nothing has changed except running sudo apt-get dist-update.

Since17th May 2019 photos and videos place holders on my facebook news feed are blank. Tried safe mode, remove all cookies, empty cache etc to no avail. I've altered no settings. All works fine in MS Edge

Anyone had and solved this one?

Firefox has gotten worse and worse. I updated FF and can't view all of my Facebook pages because I need to activate Javascript but FF doesn't allow it, making FB useless on Firefox. What a waste!

updated this a.m. 4-11-2019 when entering facebook messenger I can make one entry, next entry will type first letter and cursur then goes to front of word as if trying to type backwards. Reboot firefox did not help neither did rebooting entire system. However all works well in IE explorer 11.

As I was setting my laptop on the end table, i had my tablet on the keyboard and it must have hit some function keys or something, now the entire page is characters. I have tried running troubleshoot in safe mode, refreshed, view is set to Western... This only happens for my facebook page which is what it was on when it happened, all other pages are fine and I can open facebook in MS Edge without a problem. I even cleared my cache, uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh download of Firefox after restarting the computer. It still does the same thing! Help Please!

since 11.12.2016 i have to much crashes from unknow reason. I am just browsing up on facebook and listen youtube videos and there is a crash which shut down a one panel. Please can you be so nice and fix it ? I like very very much mozzila firefox

When I click on Log in button on this webpage "https://flylitchi.com/hub" nothing happens. I have tried disabled the 4 add-ons I have installed and it makes no difference. I don't have any privacy-related extensions installed.

This occasionally happens with other sites too, forcing me to switch to Edge or Chrome.

Any help would be appreciated.

Adding a Facebook iframe to my page cannot be fixed by using new Content Security Protocol language, how do I get it to show up on my site? I have tried to use all the different ways on the CSP language to label the source of the Facebook embed such as frame-ancestors or frame-src, etc. None of the new labels seem to work.

In addition, I have tried changing the configuration on my Browser to active_content -- that did not work. Plus, it would not solve the issue for visitors who do not have their own configurations changes on the default settings of their browser.

I read something about people editing the configuration of their server in the x-frame options. Is that any good, will that do anything? I am hesitant to start editing my server if the changes in the CSP code is supposed to make the embed show up directly in the site. That is preferable to changing the site server.

When I log onto a site, there is a tab that I can click which should take me to my FB login. It doesn't do anything at all when I click on it unless I disable my addons and go into safe mode. I tried to disable the addons one by one but nothing worked. I cannot figure out what is causing the problem. I have also refreshed my FF starting from scratch again and still the problem persists. This is the address that I go to .... www.slotomania.com and I try clicking on the blue facebook button in the center of the page. This started happening about 5 days ago and I am at my wits end trying to figure it out. Can you help me please. Thank you =) ps... I have not added any addons in a long dang time and everything else is working perfectly.

When searching on Google I sometime click on a link that takes me to Facebook. As soon as this happens the back button is greyed out and I have to close the window and restart my search. Why are Facebook allowed to have this annoying feature and is there a way to stop it?

I used to run Firefox without problem but lately had been using Safari. Wanted to get back to Firefox last week and downloaded the newest version. Since then I can't start Firefox; it crashes on start-up every time. I'm on a Mac, OS 10.12.6 (Sierra). I'm not especially techy but I have tried safe-start and a clean start with no success. Did submit crash reports, the last one about 10 minutes ago (Crash ID: bp-18a0ccaa-1f9e-4478-ada4-3ea8d0181109). If someone could help, that would be great. I am really fed up with Safari :(. When I go onto Facebook, numerous things do not function when I use Firefox browser, this does not happen with the Chrome browser, so I assume it must be a browser problem. Problems mainly arise in (1) the loading of the page (slow), (2) the stylesheet is not read properly and the page that can be seen is solely HTML5. (3) Almost always pictures do not load, meaning that posts will be shown with a blank square where the picture is supposed to be. (4) I get strange pop-ups implying that I have tried to download something (php file) which I did not, usually it is a file with a strange name. See the screenshot for problems 2 and 4.

The first, is of Facebook acting weird the second, is of a pop-up where it is asked whether I would like to download a php-file that I did not request. Now to my very limited understanding of web development it is perfectly normal for a browser to request certain files (that is how we use the web) however it is not normal for me to get a pop-up to download the file to my laptop unless I specifically request that. In addition, there is no reason why Firefox would need me to permanently store a php file from Facebook onto my laptop (as far as I know...)

This happens randomly and I cannot replicate it. Hopefully someone will be able to help with this?

I used to be able to sign into a website by clicking on the "Sign in with Facebook Account" but now when I try to do that nothing happens... if I try to sign in using my google account it will do it. I want the site I am using to be able to sign in with my facebook account. Could you please help, I have no idea why I can sign in with my facebook account. I have tried numerous things including deleting some add-on's in firefox but that didn't seem to help either.
