How do I remove darkmode while retaining my favorite theme? I don't want dark mode and I certainly do not want to be blinded either. There must be a useless setting added to the about:config that I can disable.

No addons/extensions are in use, only default H264 plugin. Strict tracking protection with always "do not track" is set, but previously no troubles at all for years. Nvidia graphics driver last (462.59 studio) installed with EVGA GTX 1060. Hardware acceleration is disabled. In most standard Windows applications, the title bar and tab colour follows the default Windows settings, e.g. (in my case) the title bar and tab colour of active application windows is blue. This is true even in Thunderbird. Since FF 89, title bar and tabs are something between white and light gray, which is extremely user-un-friendly. FF developer team should return to the previous colour scheme. Yes, I know the circumstances of free software but this is NO excuse to alienate millions of users. Developers that change fully functionable software just, well, just to CHANGE it should consider that they are doing WRONG. Could anyone tell them? I am just user, not developer and I am not willing to learn developer tools like BugZilla just for this simple guiding principle.

Today I updated my Firefox Developer Edition to version 89.0b2 and now I just can not look at this browser anymore, "Inspired new tab design" is taking too much space and now became largest and at the same time least information-dense panel in my entire desktop! I searched around the web for a bit in hopes that I will find a theme or an add-on that will revert this particular change but no luck. I really want to revert to old UI look (at least tabs bar), there should be default theme or option to get back to old style. After some investigation I found userChrome.css but don't really want to install it (maybe this is actually the way of doing this kind of styling). Please help me revert UI design to old one.

I tried Troubleshoot Firefox crashes and it did not crash in troubleshoot mode. Then I tried extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems but non of these options solved the problem. I disabled all extensions, themes and hardware acceleration, and it reported the same error.

Good morning. My Firefox appears to have updated overnight and now my menu bar is a light grey colour instead of it's original black. I want to reset the menu bar colour to black because I now have no contrast between it and my tabs. I have searched the help articles but none of them tells me how to do this. I am directed down the path: settings> extensions and themes> manage your themes.
Unfortunately I can see no way to 'manage' this theme. I would mention that I am a native English speaker but any so called 'discussion' of this issue uses what I call 'geek-speak' which is unintelligible to a non IT professional.
I would be most grateful for someone to explain to me in simple terms (ie keystroke by keystroke) how to re-set my menu bar colour to black, whilst noting that the text for (file, edit,view etc) needs to then be white rather than the pale grey which it has become.
As an after thought, does anyone know which developer it is that thinks it a good idea to mess with my original view settings during an update. It is NOT helpful and, quite frankly, really annoying.

The text is there, I can highlight it. I am using latest Firefox release as suggested by auto update. My Sessions and Session Boss know I have all my tabs open presently. I can't see the tabs & I can't right click a bookmark and see a 2nd tab open. I had the tabs at the top and just under the bookmarks bar. Now it is just one long blank bar. I disabled and then re-enabled proton, which is the worst upgrade experience ever. I changed to a simple theme, still no tabs. I downloaded the previous version 88, but it will start a new profile. I just want where I was 2 hours ago. I'll attach an image of the left upper screen with the blank tab bar.
