How do i remove the upper space between opened tabs and the top of my screen?

I recently reinstalled my Windows and also got a Firefox again with no previous data like bookmarks and all and i have noticed this small space between the top of the tab and the top of the screen.
In my screenshot you can see that i made a a red line over the line where the tab actually ends, everything above that is useless. And in my other screenshot i pressed Alt to bring the options and all up just to that you can see the empty space better.
Is this how it is and i may have missed an update on my previous Windows install? Can i remove it?

I love having my settings and bookmarks sync between all my devices. The only issue I have is that my work sets the home page via Group Policy and this homepage then becomes my homepage everywhere. Can I ignore Group Policy :-)... or stop just this setting from syncing to other devices?
I used to be able to copy a url before the page had loaded, now i can only copy a url once the page has loaded - i use this a lot for work and its a pain - fix?

I now have to wait for the page to be fully loaded, which is a pain as I like to work quickly and this takes time when I have slow internet connection. I also reply to email etc without internet connection sometime so this is not ideal Any ideas?

My FF was recently updated to 68.2.0esr and now looks horrendous. I have always had and liked my address bar on top, then bookmarks, then tabs. New versions of FF have occasionally had me searching for workarounds as the default arrangement changed. However, I cannot figure out the latest issue which renders FF mostly unusable for me. The bookmark and tab bars now almost completely overlap. I have to create an entire row of blank tabs just click on actual tabs I want in the second row. Sure, I can ctrl+tab my way through, but I don't prefer that method. Also, the bookmark bar is completely useless as is. Plus, everything just looks bad. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this mess?

I searched but all extensions require the user to click or doesn't have the submit option.

After following all the suggestions found by searching video autoplay, Firefox currently still autoplays videos with the sound muted. This is in websites other than those like YouTube, such as news websites and the like. What I REALLY want is to COMPLETELY PREVENT automatic playback of any of these videos, and if necessary, whitelist domains like YouTube to allow autoplay. Is this even feasible?

When I attempt to make a payment using PayPal from within Firefox, it opens the PayPal popup, I insert my PayPal login email address, and then the PayPal window goes blank. If I move the PayPal window I see a message from PayPal asking if I'm having trouble opening their window, and suggesting I click 'Continue'. After doing this a couple of times, I get dumped back to where I was, on the merchant website offering me ways of paying, including of course PayPal. I've tried searching through past posts, but they all refer to what's obviously a previous version of FireFox - eg suggesting I click on an Advanced tab that isn't there

The Firefox New Bookmark dialog window stopped saving the last used Folder, as any dialog window is supposed to save its last state, long time ago. Then it lost the URL field, the most important field one needs to edit when saving a bookmark. But now, the final straw, it contains a large screenshot of the page to be bookmarked, which is available, anyway, in the browser window, and can't be hidden from about:config. Can anyone please explain what is going on at Firefox?

Every few days or so, I notice that things don't get synchronised any more between my various Firefoxes (private Windows PC, work Linux PC, Android smartphone and Android tablet). The problem is always that I have to sign in again with my Firefox Account. It still remembers my user name, but I have to type in my password and occasionally also receive a confirmation email.
Does anybody know what the reason behind this could be and how to avoid this?

Now that Firefox has had its speed makeover (nice!), I've switched back to it from Chrome. However, when I post forum messages and try to apply italics by pressing Ctrl+I (which, as you probably know, has been a standard shortcut since the '90s), the bookmark list opens. I'm guessing the person who made that decision was strictly a coder who never used styled text. :?) Is there a way to change it to something else? Thanks!

Win7 64bit. Firefox completed an upgrade to version 68.2.0 and when I clicked on Show all bookmarks the whole layout looks different and most important the description field is missing. This was a problem once before with a different version of Firefox but the ESR version was supposed to keep this. I know I can open the html file which shows this info but that is not nearly as easy to use or convenient as having that info a click away. Is there anyway to revert to a version or get this field to show again? thanks

I am so sick of Google, I decided to give Firefox a try again. For the first time, it offered me Monitor, which demonstrated I have suffered a data breach, apparently at multiple sites, and they have all gotten hold of the same one of my passwords. Even though I suspect Y'all are aware that the breach was not my doing, Firefox is set up to treat me like an idiot after the fact, going into detail about safe passwords and using password manager apps--the whole thing about not using one password for multiple sites and all that, which I've been aware of and responded to cautiously and reliably for about the last fifteen years, of about twenty that I've been online.
The problem is that I am very internet savvy, so that info, as helpful as it is meant to be, is useless to me and a bit offensive. I have been using LastPass for about the last five years. I have nearly 300 unique passwords. It is useless to me to be told that some strangers have access to one of my nearly 300 passwords. What am I supposed to do with that information, change all my passwords? Why did they not provide me the password that was part of the breach, so I can hunt it down and change it? Right now, all it's done is set me up to worry, when in fact, the forces that absconded with my data, presumably as part of huge data breaches involving major companies, probably have no interest in me whatsoever! I think presenting things in this manner, as well meant as it may have been, is a bit irresponsible and condescending. Not everyone out here is an idiot, even if we may not be computer techs. Is there any way I can learn which of my many passwords was part of this breach? What else am I supposed to do with this info, when I already have unique passwords for all of my many accounts and I use a password manager?
I mean no offense in presenting my frustration and understand you all are volunteers and not responsible for the problems as I have outlined them. I hope someone can help me sort this out.
