We used to be able to organize our extension buttons and icons in the toolbar, beside the address bar. However, I just updated Firefox and can no longer show these icons on the toolbar. Instead, they're hidden in the Extensions menu (with the puzzle-piece icon)

This is annoying.

There are some extensions I use many times a day, like my password manager. Is there a way to move my extension/plugin buttons back to the toolbar?

Unlike Chrome, if you drag n drop a bookmark, it is saved with the url as a title. You need to click the star for the bookmark to be saved normally.

Any plans on changing that?

A lot of the images appear broken, see the images attached(left is FireFox, right is Chrome) Only happens with Mozilla browsers, nighty, beta, regular, I've tried them all Reinstalled countless times Hope that someone will help me with this

2 Night ago I was on my Facebook page tonight I can not get on it say Firefox did not connect. I don't understand why because I was on 2 night ago and all was good. Firefox says it not a secure site Please help me I would really appreciate. Thank you Penny

I recently turned on an old computer that I hadn't used in a while which had Firefox on it and was still logged in to my Mozilla account (but it was locked out of the account and needed me to manually log in again to access all the features). Before I did so I wanted to clear the old bookmarks on my old computer's Firefox so these wouldn't get added to my Mozilla account when I synchronized it, so I deleted them thinking only the bookmarks on my old computer's old Firefox would be deleted. But when I went on my laptop's Firefox to synchronize and make sure my Mozilla account was up to date all of my bookmarks were gone on this device as well, and now I can't seem to get them back - is there any way to retrieve these just deleted bookmarks? They took years to add, from many websites that I don't know the names of, and upon which I completely relied on the bookmarks to use.

Hi, I have a firefox account and I want to login to submit an extension. I am always asked to "Enable two-step authentication", and there is no way to escape it. If I 'cancel setup', the login will be stopped. I do not want to enable that and I do not want to be forced to install any app and I do not want to install "authy desktop" .

I have used that account before, and have submitted some extensions already. I do not know why I have to use two-step authentication.

How could I login then?

Opening the Pocket website on Firefox to view saved articles has text that overlaps.

Opening the Pocket website to view the very same saved articles on other web browsers like Microsoft Edge or Brave don't have such a problem. Attached screenshots of how the Pocket website presents on Firefox vs Edge.

Any idea when this might be fixed?

im getting unknown issuer on my thin-clients with a FF ESR 45.9.0. This FF is tied to the OS (Ubuntu 16.04) and the OS is the most recent compatible version for our version of the thin-clients. So yeah its super old and I'm not able to update any of this. There is no security.enterprise_roots.enabled option available. What would be the best way to solve this issue for ~400 clients. I'm currently running Firefox v 112.0.2 on Linux. I've had a theme installed for a while now that I really enjoy. It's a minimalist theme I found on github and then I topped it off with some colors that suite my desktop theme.

The ONLY issue I am having is with the dropdown menus. I can't see any of the list items and I cannot for the life of me figure out where to modify these colors. Searching has only gotten me more confused.

Photo is attached. I'm hoping that changing the text color here is an easy fix. The colors are all fine in other dropdown-ish menus, like bookmark folders for example.

I have recently moved to firefox and wanted to set up an address autofill so I didn't have to type something in everytime but I could only find an autofill for credit cards instead. After some digging I believe the issue is that I am using the en-GB version of firefox as I live in the UK while address autofill is only available on the en-US build. If this is the case is there a workaround so that I can have address autofill and if there is not a workaround does anyone have any idea when this feature is likely to be rolled out to the rest of us. Newbie question: today I started out using Firefox, so bear with me.

I am trying to set the Firefox Home page to display a limited number of 'pins'. Did manage to get them there, but some other pins are automatically added (based on recent visits I suppose?) So I have 8 pins, 3 I don't want. When dismissing, I get other links instead.

Maybe this is by design and can not be changed.

Vainly search for a way to have only the few pins, that I want, show there, nothing else.

I just created a website, but it's not working in Firefox. It works in Chrome and Opera. I get "Server Not Found".

I tried going to settings and clearing cache, that didn't work. I tried pressing shift while hitting reload, that didn't work. I also tried pressing Ctrl+shift+R and that didnt work.

Please advise!

Hi, When I search for google and then click tamil , my language, the phonetic key board is shown. But when I start to type it only types iln English and not in my native or regional language. Previously I had no problem in windows 7. But it is not working in the latest firefox browser. Any solution Any missing on my part

Mozilla is great at pushing out every possible new update, no matter how trivial. Every time it does, I have to reset everything.

I've been doing this since Firefox 6. I've learned to store all my about:config tweaks in a file so I can quickly copy, paste and reset them on each update. I've included the various program settings I want, too, so I don't have to think and try to remember what each one means and what I want. I use userChrome.css to set some of my display settings, but I'm not very familiar with it.

Is there some script, program, add-on, or other method to convert this time intensive restoration of my settings every month or so for all the new updates. I'd love to find some form of a "registry.reg" type file that would work on Firefox and/or Thunderbird.

If there's something out there, I'm positive a LOT of others would want it, too.

My credit union (my only checking/savings account) blocks one page even though I have the pup-up setting set to "always allow." How can I correct this?

Hello All I took my box to best buy because it was not working properly. They replaced the drive now I have no access to the passwords saved in firefox. Is there any way to get them back ? I have the old drive ! Any help greatly appreciated Gary

Hello, With Windows 11, the Marquee Tag don't work correctly with Firefox . Nevertheless the tag work in MsEdge or Chrome .

Remark: Under Windows 10, Firefox run Marquee Tag correctly . The version is the same .
