I recently explored the backgrounds on Firefox. I choose one of the, because they look really nice. But after I changed my Firefox Data Collection and Use settings the background disappeared.

Why do you have to keep "Allow Firefox to send technical and interaction data to Mozilla" and "Allow Firefox to install and run studies" enabled?

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem. Specifically, this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/extensions-private-browsing Plus, I was kinda expecting I could run STG in private too, since it offer such nice and rich grouping and memory management features vanilla FF does not (PS: please take inspiration and bake it inside!!) I want to turn off the hover preview feature. First I went in settings, but that disabled only the thumbnail (browser.tabs.hoverPreview.showThumbnails in about:config is set to false and saved). Then I went in about:config and manually set browser.tabs.hoverPreview.enabled to false as well, that disables the unwanted feature completely.

But every time I restart the browser it's turned back to true (just hover.Preview.enabled, not hover.Preview.showThumbnails). Can I save my settings? It's annoying that I can't opt out.

I'd like to put the icon on my toolbar to access it when I need to, but I can't find any way to add it to the toolbar. All articles I found with the same kinds of questions are over a year old and for old versions of Firefox. I have Windows 10 Firefox version 128.

I have 2 laptops, one for work and one personally. I was looking to set-up firefox on my personal laptop as well but noticed I cannot open developer console on a specific element by pressing 'q' anymore after right clicking.

This is a significant feature and I would like to keep using it. Is it possible to enable this feature on my personal computer as well? Since it is still enabled on my work device.

I set up a custom search extension and am trying to use 'z' as the keyword.

It doesn't work. If I use anything else, it works fine, I just can't use 'z'.

Since I use 'z' in Chrome, I'd like to keep it consistent.

I don't see any other search engines using that keyword.

Is there something I'm missing here? Why can't I seem to use 'z' as a search engine keyword?

I have about 30 user/password accounts logged when I use my Firefox account on Windows PCs but here on my new Apple Mac tablet, I do NOT see/get any of those accounts. Is there something I need to do to enable this to work?

Is there a way to make backups of my session every 30 for example? The sessionstore-backups folder only saves the last session... I'd to have it saved often and not automatically deleted.

worked in the past, now doesn' t work; if I repet operation I find that variable at false value, and firefox autostarts...
