Hello everybody,

There are more and more websites that have functions that no longer work with Firefox and force me to use Chromium instead. Do you if there is any chance that an upcoming release will put everything right?

Thank you in advance Virginie

Hello.

The website in question is https://www.liverpoolfc.com/ and the more specific pages with this problem are the sub-pages of the Competitions page.

Main page: https://www.liverpoolfc.com/fans/competitions

Some examples of sub-pages: https://www.liverpoolfc.com/fans/competitions/win-a-jota-shirt-and-lfc-ball https://www.liverpoolfc.com/fans/competitions/win-a-jota-shirt-and-lfc-ball

I have tried the solution where I cleared my cookies and all the saved data. The problem still persists. But if I use any other browser, the content loads correctly. With Firefox on the other hand the content doesn't load - or it loads but it doesn't display?

Anyone has a solution? It's a very frustrating problem. I have asked LFC for a solution but they said that they cannot replicate the problem and they just simply suggest that I use a different kind of browser - I don't want that, because I love Firefox.

I have attached some snips of how the pages look in Firefox, Edge and Chrome.

Thanks in advance.

I use Firefox as my defauly browser. However, today (12/04/21) in the UK, when I search on Google, the results populate on Yahoo! It's very bizarre. The same happens after highlighting, right-clicking and selecting 'search on Google'. The results are populated on Yahoo. Chrome is fine, Google works as normal. It's only Firefox. I use a website (u-bill.com) to access my Product and Account information for software I purchased. To find my purchase I need to enter my email address and 1 of 3 other items of information: Last 4 digits of CC; Order ID Nr; or Password. I am able to enter my email address but the text boxes for the other 3 do not appear. This only happens when I use Firefox as it is my preferred browser. I am able to enter the information in the form using Chrome. A search of possible fixes suggested disabling "hardware acceleration". I tried that and it did not work. Today was the first time I tried to access this information although I have had the account for 1 year so I do not know if Firefox ever was able to access it. I am using Firefox V 87.0 (64 Bit) and Windows 10. Here are two screen shots: #1 is the form using Firefox. #2 is the form using Chrome.

Hello,

since a few days Firefox does not load several pages. I can browse normaly but pages like "https://www.etsy.com/" stay white.

Also on my old phone (Android 7.0) i have to restart firefox since a week or so because the app wouldn't load any page anymore. The issue looks the same on my desktop version. I press enter, there is a small reaction for loading but then it stops and there is no site, just the background.

What can be the cause?

I use firefox many years now and there was never such problem.

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.google.co.uk because this web site requires a secure connection.

What can you do about it?

www.google.co.uk has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the web site, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it.

If you are on a corporate network or using anti-virus software, you can reach out to the support teams for assistance. You can also notify the web site’s administrator about the problem.

Hi I've uninstalled firefox and redownloaded several times and each time I've had the same result. I don't want to stop using firefox but unless this issue is resolved will have no alternative. Any help would be much appreciated, TIA

On all other websites I can seen the scrollbar buttons but not on Youtube. I'm running Windows 10.

On Linux Mint MATE 20.1 (and Ubuntu 20.10) the scrollbar also looks different from the default theme.

This seems to be a problem being caused by "youtube.com".

Why is Firefox allowing websites access to the scrollbars? Does anyone know why this happens or if there is a solution?

Thank you.

Some websites including facebook (which is the one I notice it most on) and blogs don't load images or text correctly. At first some images, not all, would have yellow or green stripes going vertically through the images. Then things got worse and got yellow and green pixels. Now it is getting to the point where text is also looking like gibberish. This isn't everywhere, just on some pictures and some text. i do not have the same problem using other browsers. I do not have the problem all of the time. I have refreshed firefox. I have uninstalled and re-installed firefox. I have deleted cookies, etc. Nothing seems to help. This has been happening on and off for a long time but is progressively getting worse.
