I tried to download a file from a certain file hosting site, the download link gave me 404 Not Found when I clicked it.. but if I used a proxy with port 8080 I can download that file but the download speed is really slow..

When I loaded the i-tunes programme it asked for a link programme to open it. I did not realise that Mozilla was a programme in the box and I had pressed enter before I could stop myself. Ever since, thousands of tabs open at the top of the Mozilla page corresponding to each of my tunes. I have taken i-tunes off but if I try to reload the programme the same thing happens. I need to get rid of this link but don't know how.

I have problems with this internal website at work. I have seen it before at home with www.taringa.net, the problem is that the web page just displays text without the styling sheet settings, and when I go to View > Page Style, I can only see "No Style" then a separator line, and then an option like c3c_base or some custom name. The " Basic Page Style" is not there and I can't view the web pages correctly. If I create a new FF profile, I can then see the page just fine, although the same options are available from such menu.

Has google gone mad? Had firefox gone off the deep end. This is the most annoying thing I have every encountered with firefox AND THERE HAVE BEEN PLENTY of things in the past to annoy me. When typing in the "What's Happening?" field on Twitter, my Netbook (Intel Atom n450) cpu goes straight up to max frequency and heavy utilization and stays pegged there until, apparently, the whole SoC (System on Chip) crashes and screen flashes white. Also there is heavy lag as I enter characters faster than they get displayed. I installed Opera web-browser on my Netbook and typing on Twitter is just like typing in Notepad with Opera. I'm guessing that something about the way that Firefox processes the javascript of Twitter in regard to character counting/scanning etc. is causing unnecessarily extreme cpu load.

I keep getting script errors when accessing Amazon Seller merchant pages. I get the following A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete. Script: chrome://spautofill/content/spOverlay.js:150, I also get js210 as well. I have cleared all cookies and history and unistalled Firefaox and reinstalled. Been thru my AVS and set the site as trusted in every possible place. Still get the problem. Do not get it with IE on same PC.
