In the default profile the saved logins got lost. The dialog shows no saved logins. I can visit sites one by one and request a password reset but this is very time consuming and not all sites have this feature.
I tried using the system restore feature in Windows 10 to set the computer back to a date when the passwords weren't lost but this never worked. I am not sure if this technique applies to the Firefox configuration files.
I understand that the logins are saved in the files key4.db and logins.json. I have tried to copy those files from other profiles into my default profile but I didn't get any saved logins back.

So after i reinstalled windows today i noticed my bookmarks are missing. I tried to use restore option but there is only one file in there and its a wrong one. This is the 1st time i didnt export my bookmarks to USB because last 5 times i reinstalled windows all i had to do is to log with my account and bookmarks would be there. But for some reason this time that didnt happen.
I did 2 different things this time i installed windows. I installed new HDD and i had to change my mozzila password when i installed windows cos i forgot old one. I dont think its a new HDD problem because every time i reinstall windows i wiped clean my old HDDs.
Is there anything else i could do? Im not very good with stuff like this so im kinda stuck. I tried searching online for some info but couldnt find a fix.
I even went to www.google.com/bookmarks but old bookmarks are not there. I can only see 2 new bookmarks i added today.

I am running the latest version of Firefox (V62?). I would like to save my logins, passwords, bookmarks, adblocker etc on to a portable hard drive and then be able to re-import them. I have found 'backup and restore' where I am presentd with the option to copy raw data to clipboard. How? Where is the clipboard? Why can't I copy it to my portable drive? Am I approaching this in the correct manner? Why whenever I try to search for things like where is my clipboard win 10 do I get Bing this and Bing that? Upgraded to Firefox 63.0 and all of a sudden started to see extreme sluggishness on every website I visited, especially Facebook, YouTube and some auction sites. I played around with the security settings, because this is what I saw changes in from my previous browser version to this new one, and that did not correct the sluggishness. I removed 63.0 and went back to my last browser 62.0.3 and bam, sluggishness gone. What changes were made that could have made this occur?

Just did a fresh Firefox install. Windows 10 64 Bit, version 1511 about to do the 1803 update. I do have all the NET frameworks (not sure what Firefox dependencies are, but I've never had issues). My video drivers are up to date. Windows is up to date (with the exception of Update 1803).
I don't know why this is happening. I've tried to uninstall Firefox, I've deleted all files from %appdata% (and rebooted after), I don't have any themes/addons enabled or installed. It is doing this stock, right away from installation.
Having weird bugs with Firefox in general:
Firstly being unable to drag it to resize it. Being unable to maximize it by touching the edges of the screen. Maximizing via top right corner button makes it cover the entire screen, task bar as well. There's a weird graphical thing going on in the top left corner.

Guys, strange thing happened. :D As I said in the title, YouTube video player dont work in Mozilla Firefox when I'm logged in with Google acc, when I clear cache and site data for YouTube, it logges me out, but video player and whole site YT works fine, then again I sign in, and it dont work... Every other section on the site loads perfectly (comments, related videos etc.) except video player. I dont have any plugins installed or add ons (except uBlock but I have tried to run yt with uBlock disabled). Help :D

I've tried running in Safe Mode with all add-ons disabled, clearing the cache, deleting cookies.sqlite in case it was corrupted, and of course restarting my computer. None of these worked. I can sign in with Chrome, but not Firefox. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm using Windows 10 Pro x64 (build 1803) with FF 62.0.3 (64-bit) and have noticed some weird things.
1) The browser sometimes wants to Restore Sessions, when nothing was wrong. 2) Sometimes I click on Private Mode and a regular browser window opens. 3) Sometimes I click on Private Mode and the Private mode Icon is gone from the top right.
Here's a picture... note the arrow in the upper right corner - no Private Mode Icon.
I uninstalled and reinstalled FF, keeping my existing profile but the browser is not quite stable.
Any definitive help appreciated!

I'm a web developer and love FF. Lately (over the past month or so) it gets slow and lags after about an hour or so of use. Memory starts at about 280mb and climbs to over 5000mb in use under Task Manager (CPU is fine). I have tried turning off all plugins (3 of them) but doesn't help. I have set the theme back to standard - still the same. I have about 12 tabs open. Have updated to Version 62.0.3 (64-bit) today but still slow. PC spec - 24GB RAM, Intel i7 3.33GHz (12 core 64bit), Windows 10, NVidia GTX 1060 6GB.
Please help?

For over a week I have been trying to access OneDrive, but every time I get the Secure Connection Failed message. The SSL checker on the firefox help page says the certificate is ok. It only seems to be this web page I am having a problem with, but am at a loss to know why. It is also blocked on my tablet which uses Chrome. Any suggestions?

Every version of Firefox since 62.0.3 has been unstable on my system to the point of being completely useless. The crashes I suffer from were clearly introduced in the transition from 62.0.3 to 63.0, because every version from 63.0 to 70.0 has been unusable, and every time reverting to 62.0.3 gives me back a working browser. (By 'unusable' I mean crashing literally within a few seconds of starting up).
However, 62.x is now so ancient that if I can't have a working version of Firefox soon I will have to give it up in favour of something more modern and secure!
Please can you investigate and fix this issue!
