Hi,
So I have a kind of unusual problem. I am currently logged into my Firefox account (obviously) and have access to all my saved material/history. The problem is I do not know my current password (the ones saved in the password manager are old/not correct) and I can't reset it without losing all my info. This is mostly a problem because I want to activate Firefox sync on another computer. Does anyone know how I can find out my current password without resetting everything?
Thanks!

Can you give me back my "Stuff" as it's all gone now after a change in my gmail because it wanted 3 days to confirm my request for a new password? I made a new account. After a support request to Moto G (when I could no longer download my moto g pictures), my personal files (i.e. recipes, research on US Covid 19 vaccines, and notes on anything from a Spanish learning program to family info, etc) was taken. Their tech support in the US, Ryan, helped me and it vanished and he says he can't reset it. Even though he had access through my cell and laptop.
It's a great hack. Can you help me? Cheri
"They" did leave me my creation "Family slide show" but not the historic one made for the elders.

Every time I close out Firefox and then restart it, the browser address bar has an orange stripe with a robot icon that says my browser is in remote control mode. I have to go into the about:config panel and search for the "Marionette" options. If I toggle the two settings that are true/false and restart, the remote control goes away. I did not install this feature, I have no idea how to use it, I don't need it, and I'm tired of having to do this every time I open Firefox. It's ridiculously annoying to the point that I'm ready to start using another browser. The internet has NO practical help on how to fix this for anyone who is not an expert in computer code. I need a permanent fix for this pesky and annoying bug.

Hi,
I was trying to use firefox primary password without knowing what it does :(. Well by the time i set the primary password in firefox i realise that it replaced all the saved login passwords of over 600 URLS with primary password.
I checked few articles where they have spoken about replacing logins-backup.json and key4.db file. In my case though i think this will not help because i had my syncing on, when i did primary password setting change. is there any method with which i can restore my previous passwords by creating new profile may be.
Just desperately need way with which i can restore the passwords else this will be really difficult for my work
Thanks Prasad

I have all the correct privacy settings. To save the sites cookies, history, etc. I have NOT checked on the site's website to use 2 step verification. Yet EVERYDAY I am asked to do so, even a few times a day if a few hours have passed. Why? I don't know what else to do since I have contacted the website and they have told me to set my browser as it IS ALREADY SET.

Hello,
I like Firefox unfortunately all browsers are so 1999... It is impossible to use without addons, if you browser internet a lot and have opened a lot of tabs and windows. I bumped into this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1155401 Saying: this will open another instance of Firefox. But nothing is bulletproof! So ask, if this will isolate me from addons, which I would open in first instance of Firefox.
Thanks for help.

but in newer version, now running 86, trying to do the same with cert_override.txt and cert9.db does not work
how do I solve this ?

In Preferences > Security & Privacy, I have the boxes checked to ask to save and autofilling login & password info. But the browser does not do it. It asks, but saves nothing when I answer Yes. This has been the case since I refreshed the browser at Firefox's suggestion last week. Worked fine prior to that. iMac running macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6. Thanks.

Hello, I am having an problem with my VPN. It was there and now it's not (I'm sure it must be my fault). I have signed out and reset multiple times to no avail. In settings it indicates it is on, however it does not give me the option to turn it off or on. In addition the icon on the Firefox browser also indicates it's on but the does not change color as before. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank You For Your Time.
