Firefox has just updated to version 84, and has lost all my passwords, and I think cookies too. This is the second time this has happened.
I have had a look in Windows Explorer to see if there is an older file (C:\ProgramData\Mozilla), but nothing there that looks hopeful at all.
I have to ask myself: Should I be using Chrome?
my firefox cookies get hacked 3 to 4 times. all my google id"s get hacked

Hey, since FF 64 B13 there are some changes which broke our APP but I cannot find a solution. When we log into our internal website, we are immediately logged out again as soon as I click a link there. You can see that after loading the page, a control cookie "CmdCookie" is reset to an initial value so that you are directed to the login page. All other cookies remain unchanged. With FF64 Beta 12 everything worked without any problems. Does anyone know where the problem could be? If I turn off all the chaches then I can log in, but sporadically I keep being kicked out.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day! Max

I am 85 and in UK and I don't know if I have missed any recents changes, but recently have started getting a blizzard of requests for cookie permissions and also have to complete a square security/cookie form every time I want to use Google. Can anyone help me to solve this problem which is recent as I have enough trouble as it is with "Tech" matters.

I can't find a way to block all the 3rd party cookies by default except for those that I want to. For example, google drive uses some third party cookies to open videos I guess, cause if I block those firefox doesn't reproduce my videos. I would like to remove all the 3rd party cookies except for the sites I want to keep them.. how can I do it?

How would I access my private session cookies? I don't believe they are stored in a .sqlite table is there a way to access them within memory? How does firefox access them?
Thanks.

bold textSince I got a new computer and put Firefox on it I have not been able to keep choices, selections and cookies for web pages. Every time I go to one I have to reenter settings and/or accept cookies. Even though I do it every time I go to the websites. This is over every web site I go to. Not sure what is causing this. But none of them remember my cookies or settings.

Hello, I use Microsoft Teams daily and I recently switched to firefox. Everything is great so far except that when I try to login to teams I'm stuck in an endless loop and never succeed to login. I searched and found that it is a cookies issue and I should allow the following cookies:
[*.]microsoft.com [*.]microsoftonline.com [*.]teams.skype.com [*.]teams.microsoft.com [*.]sfbassets.com [*.]skypeforbusiness.com
However, this format does not work with firefox and I tried placing a normal URL of each like : https://microsoft.com but it didn't work. So what is the format equivalent in firefox to these to whitelist these cookies
Why do I have to agree on cookies every time I start a page say ok just save in the browser.

hello folks,
I'm getting very annoyed with the paranoia of corporate America and I my machines are all heavily customized. and I've managed to cut off all ties with corporate people because they are very big time wasters because most of their customers are very uninformed. but that's OK. I just happen to be a rare case. I posted this question elsewhere and asked some other very competent people about this. It is here:
however, the addressed a very similar issue. really the point of this effort by me is to save anything and everything that BANKS put on my machines so i don't have to talk to CSR's when they change their security and annoy customers with changing auth and auth. I just ran into it again with HSBC 10 minutes ago and wasted 20 minutes doing redundant tasks with a CSR to unlock the account. can you guys tell me what is in each one of the files listed in the image I've attached? I can do it myself with github tools, but I'd rather save time and get it from the pros here, assuming someone here knows. I just need summaries. Not specifics. I can figure it out from there. If someone could give a hint if this doesn't look like a suspicious post, that would be nice.
thanks.
Adam

If I type vodafone in Google search in firefox it shows for only half a second the link to the vodafone website but than it goes 3 or 4 places down and I only get links to other vodafone suppliers. If I type stock Tesla before I got the grafic of Tesla stock and now I have to click to financial to show that because the first 3 links are commercial stock sellers.
This is only a recent development but very very annoing.
I does not happen in Google Chrome.
