I am constantly frustrated by unresponsive pages / script warnings etc using Firefox. This never used to happen on previous builds -- I am using the latest 86.0 -- but these occur so often that I am about to say goodbye to Firefox. This does not happen when I am using Chrome and other browsers.
I have been through all of the suggested steps to deal with these unresponsive script/page issues, and none has worked.
Would appreciate any help on this, but as I say I am about to leave Firefox at this point for Chrome and other browsers.
Thanks in advance...

My laptop crashed hard. I obviously didn't get a backup of my bookmarks, password, etc. Where and what file name is my old bookmarks kept? I can get access to my old laptop data, but I am not sure exactly the path and filename I need to get. Thanks
Maybe it is just me ..but is seems like 500 - 600MB of memory use for 2 open tabs is a lot ?

I tried Firefox 86.0 on ArchLinux with a KDE Plasma (Wayland) session. All Qt and GTK applications function normally. Firefox does not crash, but there is a noticable delay while typing or interacting with the mouse. It seems the input is received but it is not rendered on the screen.
I used the profiler and uploaded a profiler session to help you investigate the problem.

For some reason Firefox is deleting my browsing history every time I exit the browser. I do not have the setting enabled to 'Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed'.
This seems to have started happening since I told Firefox to 'forget' a couple of sites in my browsing history.
I do not have any external programmes such as antivirus that would delete the browsing history.
What could be causing this?

Hello,
I have a problem with Firefox. I think this is a bug. I have tested it in Firefox 85, 86 and 87.
When I press Alt, the complete title bar with the menus File, Edit, View, ... appears. Afterwards, when I click Minimize, Maximize, Close, New Tab or List All Tabs, the title bar is minimized again but nothing else happens. Those buttons just don't work.
Is there a way to fix this problem? Is it likely to be fixed sooner than three months/six months/years? Please tell me how I can add anymore useful information. Thanks for your support!

In the Find box, sometimes the search skips over my word of interest before I fully type in the word.
I would like to search the old fashioned way in the Find box. Let me completely type my search word and hit Enter before the search commences.
Is this possible?
I do not have the "Search as You Type" option turned on, which really does not apply to the Find box.
