Every time I need to share my entire screen on Google Meet (or any other similar app) I'm always asked if I want to share a single window or full screen. But if I try to remember the decision to always share my full screen, Firefox tells me "Firefox can not allow permanent access to your screen". Is there a way to let Firefox allow me to remember the decision forever? Thanks

Hello, we have web application installed in internal network. We are using it for many years and we are installing upgrades and security updates (It is not public application so I can't give you the name). It have possibility to generate certificate request and import signed certificate so we are doing this for many years, with success. We have local Certificate Authority and of course, root and intermediate certificates are imported in FF cert store. After last App and FF update I'm receiving Security Warning (screen shots uploaded). This appears in several FF versions. Same app is 'secure' in Chrome and IE (screen shot from Chrome). How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance. Miodrag

how to disable enhanced tracking protection in Firefox on all site. global switch I don't want someone to make me happy, by force. profiling by websites and targeted advertising does not hurt. I remember in 2005, Firefox was a browser for advanced users. today it is assumed that the user is stupid

so you have to impose everything on him and not let him change anything beside colors .

the leader in treating a user like a fool is google, that's why I came back to Firefox after four years. however, I can see that this is also a little such a policy and the solution is forced upon the user.

i`m using https://github.com/sftblw/Webpage-Sidebar to open simple panel from my website. Before 83.0 there was an http-auth-prompt in popup, now it does not show. The same goes for "select mail program" since previous update.

Any ideas for workaround for this "new, shi(t|n)y features"?

If HTTPS-Only Mode is turned on and the Connection Settings has a HTTP URL for the Automatic proxy configuration URL, Firefox does not load the proxy configuration file and all sites that require a proxy will fail to load.

There does not appear to be a way to add an exception in this case. The example given at HTTPS-Only Mode in Firefox does not work because when the configuration URL is navigated to in the address bar, a download prompt appears and there is no lock icon shown.

I believe this is a serious bug in HTTPS-Only Mode because when someone turns it on, it will work because the proxy configuration is already loaded, but when Firefox restarts they will no longer receive their proxy configuration and will lose access to all sites that require a proxy.

This box pops-up while the website's home page is loading.

FF is set to block: *all third-party cookies *tracking content in all windows *cryptominers *fingerprinters FF is also set to block pop-up windows - the website in question is NOT an exception, and so FF should be blocking pop-ups on this site.

I was using FF vs 82.0.2 before the pop-up started appearing a day or two ago. I upgraded to 83.0 hoping this would take care of the pop-up, but it didn't. I'm sure it returns with each new launch of the browser b/c I have FF set to clear out cookies, site data and history when it's closed. But it seems the pop-up block should step in despite those settings.

The site has apparently found a way to thwart the AdBlock feature that will block individual ads, as occasionally I've successfully used the "Block an ad on this page" feature to kill cookie use advisory banners. Could whatever this site has done to render AdBlock's "Block an ad on this page" useless...also be what's over-riding my pop-up settings? If that wouldn't be the case, how is this pop-up getting around my settings?

Or is it not a pop-up? If it's not a pop-up, what is it and is there a setting to get rid of it, or prevent it?

I want to use containers more, and I've seen references on Mozilla information pages and news articles to assigning websites to always open in specific containers . Hi

I have set Enhanced Tracking Protection to Strict. Some sites may throw you out if you select "I do not accept" (cookies). Some sites make a statement along the lines "By using our service you are deemed to have accepted cookies". If in the former case I select "accept" or in the latter continue to use the site, would that override the Firefox "Strict" setting or would the Firefox Strict setting still block cookies etc?

My apologies if this is already answered elsewhere. I have looked at the help pages but much of this stuff is over my head.

Dear Mozilla Support, I am contacting you because I would like to have clarifications regarding the following notification (that I found at the link: https://monitor.firefox.com/user/dashboard):

1 Email address being monitored

Maybe I misunderstand the sentence, so I don't know whether to interpret it positively or negatively.

In other words: is Firefox monitoring my Email account, to protect it, or else has it been detected that my Email account is being monitored by third parties? If the second hypothesis is correct: how do I know who is checking my email account?

I thank you in advance.

With best regards
