Starting today, Google Calendar will not load. There is none of my data in it. I cannot navigate. This is only in Firefox. A blue color streams across the top of the screen as if it is trying to load.

I tried using my new external webcam on Google Meet but the browser could not detect it, I could only see the integrated one. First I thought there was something wrong with the new webcam but then I found out it works normally on Microsoft Edge. Anyone has an idea where the problem lies?

I'm running Windows 10 on a Surface Pro like device (it's a Vaio Canvas). I have a bluetooth keyboard that is always connected, but I often just use it as a tablet. I've tried disconnecting the physical keyboard but I still get the same behaviour.

Using touchscreen, I select a text box (or URL bar/search box etc), normally the On-screen Keybard (OSK) comes up and lets me type. Right now, with FF it pops up and then promptly disappears.

This makes FF completely unusable using touchscreen/tablet mode. I have switched to using chrome on this device - I've tested other browsers too and none exhibit this behaviour. Could it be my settings?

I am part of a charity organisation which is using Google Drive to store records in the "cloud" and a means of multiple members accessing those files. A form has been created which needs a date to be entered. The form was created by another person with a drop down calendar or by entering the date using dd/mm/yyyy. When I open the form through Google Drive on my computer using Firefox (my browser of choice)the drop down calendar does not operate and the date is formatted MM/DD/YYYY. Through "Options" on the home page the language is set to English (Great Britain) and the date is said to be taken from my Windows settings. My Windows settings for the date formatting are correct at dd/mm/yyyy. If I change browsers to Chrome the form is accessible with its correct formatting. Your assistance would be appreciated

Not sure this time.......you guys have helped me before, (thanks heaps...BTW) luckily I did my Banking before it crashed! groan.....my guy has no idea...('cos he's dyslexic) ... years ago he did a course, then left it up to me! It's to do with the fact that I didn't understand how to create/data into emails & such in the first place properly...now it's a big mess, plus for the life of me I couldn't remember how to fix up my emails, plus I had that problem of the long string of data that I have 'nursed' & that has now totally disappeared! Not very easy to explain, sorry! I had about 5 years worth, Hmmmmm... But I can't explain where my emails have gone! I do still have a few listed 'bookmarks' in alphabetical order but I don't know how to restore them, (she said hopefully)! I still cannot find out where the emails 'live'.....they seem to have located themselves into a new format! (Oh yeah, about 9 months ago I figured out how to insert a 'NEW FOLDER' ..lol... that really helped.) Sigh...this has taken me about 6 hours to sort out.....I am so very grateful, I hope this time who knows, I might get to flex my Wings!! i have been trying to lunch local app from browser.

i succeeded open .exe file,

which is on registry by URL protocol 

but i cannot open file which isn`t in registry

     .exe or specific file etc.

how can i solve this problem

i abitually open more sheets with varius pages of the same site (for example 4 pages of wikipedia) on some sites wher i have to consent the privacy i consent on the first page that i open but then i havce to consent on all the sheets i open, how can i make him understand that is the same sites and i alredy gave my consent? i tried to play with the options in pyvacy setting but the resuts don't change, i'm sure there is a way because if i stay in the same sheet it doesn't happen.

Is there any way to bookmark all synced tabs? I'm trying to move my open tabs from my phone to my pc.

I know you can right click a single synced tab and "Bookmark this tab". But I would like to do it for all open tabs.

I know you can "Open all in tabs", but that is an awful solution due to lag and potential redirects.

Hello I was attempting to backup my c-drive documents to onedrive when my computer crashed. When I turned it back on I could no longer access any of the files I had attempted to back up on my C-drive (panic!). I looked online for advice and followed advice to unlink Onedrive and restart. I did this and managed to find my C-drive files (phew) but the whole of my desktop and browser history, passwords, bookmarks etc has been completely wiped. There is some really important things in there and I would really like to get it back. Any help much appreciated...I am not tech minded so any advice as simply put as possible please....

The scroll wheel is not working in Firefox. It works in other programs, so it is not a problem with my mouse.

It just started today. I have cleared my data and cookies, and restarted Firefox. I have not installed any new extensions in months.

This is a serious usability issue. I will have to switch to another browser, that will allow the use of the scroll wheel.

I need to completely block videos from autoplaying! So far I've done the following:

  Switch firefox settings to block video and audio
   media.autoplay.default = 5
   media.autoplay.allow-extension-background-pages = false
   media.autoplay.block-event.enabled = true
   media.autoplay.block-webaudio = true
   services.sync.prefs.sync.media.autoplay.default = false
   media.autoplay.enabled.user-gestures-needed = false (android)

(or)

   media.autoplay.blocking_policy = 2 (PC)

The videos are hidden from the start but if you click anywhere in the website they pop up!

FIREFOX PC-after downloading any software (in my case zapya) i m getting error upon installing that file source not present.i checked my antivirus,checked my permissions almost everything...!!!

EDGE- i downloaded same softwares on edge browser they installed perfectly without any problem.

Is firefox scanning my downloads and making them corrupt?

Hallo, seit dem Update auf Version 80 wird immer meine Konfiguration von Firefox zerstört. Ich muss dann sämtliche Einstellungen erneuern. Wenn das nicht abzustellen ist, werde ich Firefox de-installieren, obwohl ich seit Jahren Nutzer von Firefox bin. MfG rentnerjo46

After updating Firefox forgets that I want .pdf files opened with Windows standard application instead of downloading them. Can Firefox be told to remenber my preferance?
