Can you elimanate the tab bar at the top of the browser? I'd rather just open new windows.
That's all I'd like to know. Is there a simple way to do this? The bar on the top takes up space and I feel is redundant.

Have also tried making chrome default and then back to Firefox as default. Have also tried setting FF as default in Windows>> Default Programs. But nothing is working. I've even tried making IE as default from Control Panel, yet Chrome opens. I've noted 1 thing that Chrome is not there in Control Panels> Programs & Features list.

I can open a new window, but nothing ever happens without me moving the trackball. If I constantly move the trackball everything works as should.

I refreshed Firefox to fix a problem of links not loading to no avail so I decided to reinstall. First I copied my profile folder. After reinstalling Firefox I was able to import my bookmarks from a previously exported backup. Here's the fun part...I am unable to find the new profile folder so I can copy my old password files into it. The new folder has only 6 folders and 1 file in it whereas the old profile folder had about 19 folders and 52 files. The 2 files I need to copy back into my new profile folder are logins.json and key4.db. So far I have been unable to Google any helpful support articles so I decided to try Mozilla support directly. I am desperate to restore my old files because if I have to manually copy passwords from a different Firefox installation it will take a loooong time.
By the way, the original issue of Firefox not loading has occurred on my other computer as well. Is the new version broken?
Firefox 67 no longer warns about closing tabs to the right or all other tabs.
Doesn't seem to matter the number, and browser.tabs.warnOnClose and browser.tabs.warnOnCloseOtherTabs are set to 'true'.

Hello, I was wondering why I have to install extensions in order to prevent popup to appear. Right now, of course, popup are disabled in the option menu, I have two Adblocker (Plus and Ultimate and I need both, despite the subscriptions are almost identicals), Ghostery, Popupblocker and Behind the Overlay, but in some cases these are still not enough. I have to accept cookies (but not from third parties) and when I close the browser, everything is going to be deleted by custom settings. I do not have any malware/virus, I don't install random programs, I don't have any sidebar. I keep all the software up to date. Any suggestion? Am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

2019.04.11, 7600+ pages(tabs), session restore tab show up，click restore button， hanging on for a day, restore failed Firefox take up 5G memory, os System disk with low capacity, total memory used up.
2019.04.12 Add 8G memory up to 16G mem, session restore again, firefox used 9G memory, 4G mem free, Firefox hanging on for another day. Kill process. Reduce memory back to 8G
2019.04.12 ---04.16 Give up session restore, leave the session restore tab for future . Open new tabs for surfing. At 04.16 ,a sudden firefox update, firefox opened up 3 windows to prompt update notification, Close the 2 windows, from the main window, the session restore tab gone, the history box not loaded(in the start tab), The firefox response slowly, firefox may have some problems. Kill process and open again, not getting better .
From that time point , session restore tabs never shows up. Close firefox by kill process, the size of Recovery.jsonlz4 increased accordingly,
Recovery.jsonlz4 size 57M Pages/Tabs:7600+ 2019/4/21 Try firefox version 52 ， 57， 62,64 respectively to restore session ， all failed. Try mozlz4-edit-master https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html
Scrounger have no response, Mozlz4 failed with error:

I will not give up rescuing the sessions. I want all the tabs back, they are so lovely and useful.

Ran across a help guide describing process of creating a new profile http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3025219. I can now ONLY access the FF browser by searching for and running from system bar "firefox.exe -p".
Running Windows 7 64-bit at present.
New system icon for program in menu doesn't permit me to run normally, nor does running as administrator. Would appreciate some help. FYI is a work computer, so I don't want to do anything extreme, as it might cause me to lose data.

Скорее всего, ваш браузер сейчас работает в режиме Приватного просмотра, во время которого Indexed DB не работает (это известная ошибка #781982 Firefox).
Вы можете попробовать в настройках истории браузера about:preferences#privacy отметить опцию "Firefox будет запоминать историю". Однако это не гарантирует того, что Indexed DB заработает. Или же вы можете связаться с Mozilla и попросить их как можно скорее исправить эту ошибку.
