I received an email at an email account I don't use for my Mozilla Firefox, thus why seems suspicious and strange to me. So I researched it here and saw the answer to another persons same question. I did go and check, I am logged in. Firefox is my primary and I use it constantly. Also on my phone and tablet, same account. As I write this, I have about 15 tabs open and active. The email associated to my account is not the same as the one I got this email at. The email I got it in, I use for solicitation, signing up for things and things I don't trust. This is what the email stated (same info as what was posted by the other person that got this same post) I copied and paste vs. Screen shot... so the Mozilla logo didn't show up. MIND YOU, I HAVE NEVER GONE 2 YEARS WITH NOT BEEN ACTIVE ON FIREFOX. AND I ONLY HAVE ONE ACCOUNT. PLEASE ADVISE --- The email they sent it to is [email removed]@gmail.com

Hi, After submitting my first question, I got a prompt that the confirmation e-mail is sent to my primary e-mail. The problem is that I cannot open my primary e-mail because of outdated security protocol of the server. I can contact the server owner, but it might take awhile and it doesn't mean that I could open my primary e-mail after that. Also, if a confirmation e-mail looks like "Approve sign-in to Mozilla" one, containing the authorization code, the problem is that I don't see where to enter the code and I don't see instructions. After last upgrade, I restored an earlier profile to RESTORE my bookmarks and passwords.

I set my old profile as DEFAULT.

YET NOW, I have the highly annoying problem that when I open a link from my email, it opens in the profile-release new version.... I then again do not have access to passwords and bookmarks.

Mozilla Firefox should address these issues, rather than have MILLIONS of people individually trying to fix the problems that the latest release caused.

I'm afraid to close my browser windows or even restart PC like I often do; I'm afraid I'll have to waste another 6 hours (like yesterday) trying to restore the profile, bookmarks and passwords.

I received an email saying that I had to sign in in order to keep my account. I did not click on the link provided since I thought it might be a scam. Was this a valid email? If so, is signing in now meet the requirement to keep my account?

Hi good morning My name is Douglas and I am new to use this service I'm on my windows HP laptop and it asked me to create a Mozilla account as I could created my Mozilla account it accepted everything and then when I needed to change my information that I had already included in and it accepted when I went back to change that it blocked me out of my account I do not know how to get in to I don't know how to unlock my account can you please help me or show me how to unlock my account thank you very much it's greatly appreciated

I've been using Firefox for Mac for oer 20 years, and have gotten two notices in the past week that my account will be closed this weekend, and all my data destroyed. As a daily user, I've assumed that I'm a member in good standing. Is this email a scam?

I keep getting notices that I have a virus that can't be found by my AV programs and gives a website of yfyfx.freshadsflow.top.

I keep closing the notice out or selecting the "Dismiss" button but it keeps coming back. If I unistall Firefox and reinstall it will I lose all of my bookmarks?
