I have the site espn.com bookmarked and for the last month or so it has been opening it's various foreign sites instead of the united states version when I click on the bookmark tab. It will switch to the UK and Mexico sites randomly when I click on the tab. The address is saved as the US version (espn.com) when this happens so I can't figure out why it's doing it. It doesn't matter if I use a vpn that says I'm in the US or just my regular internet provider in the US, the site keeps changing what country it chooses to open with. I noticed that every time I click the tab it will cycle between the various different sites for each country even though as I said before, the bookmark is set for espn.com. It makes no sense as none of my other bookmarks do this and it doesn't do it when I use Safari's browser. Is there anything on my end I can do to get this to stop or is it coming from espn.com's end? I am running "Firefox Browser 93.0", and I have Windows 10 Pro Version 21H1, OS Build 19043.1288. It use to work, but something has changed, not by me. It will play that same video using the "Edge Browser" so there is nothing wrong with the website. However, I can play this "YouTube Video": [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAJSYk5wMiA] I also tried another link in their website, this is the weather link: [https://www.wandtv.com/weather] it starts to play, but then stops and nothing ever plays. But they all play in the "Edge Browser!" Any ideas on what changed and how do I change it back, so they will play? I prefer Firefox Browser to any other browser! Do you know what the issue could be? I need to use Google Meet for a professional purpose. When I use is from the Chrome browser, I can present a specific tab on my desktop; however, I prefer to use Firefox as my default Browser. The problem is, when I use Meet on Firefox, the presentation options don't include sharing a tab. Is there a way to fix this, or do I just need to use Chrome when meeting?

The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.

This is a trusted website, been using it for years without issue. Used it a few hours ago to check my account. Only problem is on my pc, all other devices including people I've asked, do not have this issue. Seems to be a problem with the firefox browser only.

I have Firefox 96.0.1. As of this morning, images will no longer load on any websites. The only thing that has changed since yesterday is that I followed some advice from the Washington Post on how to prevent scam emails. I have spent nearly two hours searching for and following advice to restore images on Firefox, but nothing has worked. I need more direct assistance!

Fire fox updated t his morning now half my web sites I used yesterday come up with this PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR, bing , yahoo, usps and faacebook just to name a few!!!!!! Not Happy!!!

Hi! Netflix used to work great in Firefox on my Mac OS X 10.11.6 macbook. Now I've been getting an error message saying "Looks like your browser is no longer supported" when trying to play video on Netflix and it won't play. I noticed that it self-updated a couple times over the last few days but these updates did not solve the problem. I'm hoping that this problem can be fixed so that I can keep watching Netflix on Firefox, as I find Chrome and other browsers are very slow and laggy compared to Firefox. Thanks :)

Hi! This will sound like an odd question, given that everybody seems to search for the opposite - but how could I DISABLE dark-mode in FF95.00?

I have my whole OS in dark-mode the whole time because of looks. I also installed a dark-mode theme on FF. Because of looks. But after the latest updates, FF decided to present a bunch of my favourite websites in dark-mode, too. Even at daytime - where I use my Computer.

Affected websites are, for example such "unknown" websites like "twitter.com", "spiegel.de" or even "facebook.com". It seems like they use some kind of a flag or token, which decides to use darkmode or not. How do I re-enable the light-mode (is this even a word?), not dependent of my windows / FF settings? Is there an add-on?

WebGL has stopped working. I think this has happened with Firefox 91.

For example, http://webglsamples.org/aquarium/aquarium.html gives the error Status: WebGL creation failed: * tryNativeGL () * Exhausted GL driver options. (FEATURE_FAILURE_WEBGL_EXHAUSTED_DRIVERS)

I'm running Firefox on Debian on ChromeOS.

On about:support, WebGL 1 Driver Renderer: Red Hat -- virgl WebGL 2 Driver Rendered: Red Hat -- virgl

There are no WebGL errors in about:support

I've tried the Troubleshoot Mode but that made no difference.

It seems like something has changed recently, I don't remember having such problem before. As you can see on one of my pictures I have browser settings changed to always ask what to do with every file extension, yet encountering link to pdf file it loaded automaticly in special frame instead of showing just link to it. I included pictures of this frame, settings and another screenshot of the same website in Opera browser with similar settings where nothing loads itself.

Hello, I'm not sure if I chose the right topic above.

I'm trying to visit a site which is still using http. But Firefox is automatically redirecting to https, where of course it cannot resolve the site.

In settings, I have it set for "Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode". But still, Ff is redirecting.

I don't know. Maybe I should set for https only, and then enter an exception??

I have searched for a solution, but for every solution I find, when I look up how to do it, it says, before you try this, try that first. After about 5 rounds of that, I got too confused and gave up.

Oh, I also cleared the cache, but no help.

When clicking on an article link in an email from Wired, "Header overflow" is the only thing that is displayed in Firefox. It worked prior to latest upgrade. The link works fine when using Safari. When choosing Paypal as payment option on website, the Paypal login page loads. But after entering my login info I just get a continuous circle. Message at bottom is "waiting for c.paypal.com" then nothing happens. Going in again I sometimes get the verification pictures to prove I am not a robot, but then the same thing occurs. I have cleared cache and data, refreshed Firefox, re-entered Paypal login details, checked Firefox is latest version, disabled AntiVirus, checked tracking protection is standard, turned off AdBlocking extension for that page but nothing works. Using Opera browser Paypal opens immediately. So what's the issue here Mozilla? Any fix?

A site that I use several times every year recently wouldn't open. Response from Firefox is "Access Denied - Certificate issuer not recognized". Also kept getting bumped out of my email account and all my open tabs would close abruptly. The last may have been rectified but I still can't get into the website I want to access.

I've tried different browsers as well so I don't know if it's Mozilla only or my PC. Even if I type in https://www.(pagename).com, it displays as you don't have permission to access http://www.(pagename).com.

I changed nothing on my PC that would cause the problem.

I have had a few websites not work properly with Firefox and have needed to open my backup browser (Avast Secure Browser) to use those websites.

Right now it is FedEx that comes to mind again as I kept checking for tracking of packages shipped to me since receiving the tracking info. I queries consistently returned the error message "Unfortunately we are unable to retrieve your tracking results at this time. Please try again later."

Thinking maybe the website was having issues or maintenance (and forgetting I had the same issue with FedEx website the last time I tried tracking there in Firefox), I kept "trying again later".

Then I opened my Avast browser and pasted the same url there and, sure enough, received this report on the display:

firefox is my default browser but every time i want to open a website or my gmail i have to sign in to google first . always get a message from google stating that cookies are disabled on firefox browser and i must reverse this and make google my default browser . what then is the point of firefox if i have to do this every time i may as well stay with google chrome . how do i solve this so that i can log on to gmail and autotrader with firefox .

I don't why (as i have not altered any settings). But now when i use Mozilla firefox browser, a lot of websites are being displayed with a blark/dark background. I know it is the firefox browser as it does not do the same if i use other web browsers. I tried looking up the issue and solutions. All i could find was some suggestion that websites are displayed according to the settings on my PC i.e if it is set to light or dark mode. I checked this and the settings have not changed. Also as previously mentioned, then if that was the reason, surely the websites would display dark when using another browser. I have attached a screen shot of the twitter website as an example.

Yesterday I started having trouble logging into Gmail and associated apps (calendar, contacts, docs, sheets, shared folders, etc., as well as google.com) in Firefox. All other sites are loading with no problems. Google apps are working fine in Chrome. Still having problems today.

My office uses Google Workplace for everything so this is really messing me up, I've lost several hours of work trying to get things to load. The IT person told me that if Firefox is having problems I should use Chrome instead. I hate Chrome! I want to use Firefox, but I can't get my work done if it won't load Google apps.
