Hello. Firefox quickly takes up all the space on the SSD. After about two days of work, there is no disk space left. Closing the browser helps, but it's not comfortable. Windows 10 system.

Firefox crashes very often while it doesn't in safe mode. Version updated, RAM is checked OK. Hello, I am using a new HP computer with Firefox as my main browser. I use two screens. I have had problems with Firefox for the past couple of weeks. I usually have a couple of windows of Firefox open. One on the first screen with multiple tabs and another on the other screen. I also run chat programs, Discord, Antivirus programs, Zoom, Slack, and a few others.

Firefox crashing has also crashed other programs. I have had Discord crash a few times and Displayfusion crash as well.

I updated FireFox to the newest version. I even uninstalled and then reinstalled. I updated Windows. Flash is turned off. My video drivers are updated. I checked for viruses and spyware. I did have some Bit Coin Mining malware detected, but it was quarantined last week. All scans now are clear.

Firefox is crashing and i can't even get into the crash reports or any pages. I cannot open it in safe mode. I have not tried the refresh option as I am not sure what will happen. I have run a virus scan and there are no reports These are unsubmitted crash reports. I am not sure what app to use to open and read them. Thank you, Emmie

I have found a strange thing happening. I tested it several times and it is always this. When I open ALL HISTORY and then also choose something on the left (like a month, say JULY), then r-click and choose DELETE, Firefox begins to suck up all my RAM, as high as 3GB of RAM, my PC has 4GB total. So at this point, PC becomes almost unusable. If I close HISTORY and then click to close Firefox, nothing happens. So I was wondering if anyone else ever reported a similar issue. Only happens in Firefox, only when I do the steps listed. Otherwise Firefox works fine. FYI, I just now did the upgrade to 80.0, don't know if this will resolve issue or not, haven't tested yet.

Hi there!

My firefox suddenly stopped to show me pages. I don't know what's the reason of it, however it doesn't work either in a safe mode (without any additionals) or without it. Also it doesn't work on 2 different windows accounts with different browser settings. I can't do anything there, and when I run the browser I can see the page content for about 2 secs, and then suddenly it crashes. When I refresh it again, I can still see the content for only a short while and it breaks again (image in attachment shows it). I'll be thankful for any help with that problem. I've suspected it's some kind of virus but anti-virus program doesn't detect anything.

I'm rather desperate for help. I've been a Firefox user for years, and can't figure this out.

My installation of Firefox 76.0.1 on Windows 10 crashes daily. It crashes in safe mode, my Windows is up to date, my video drivers are up to date. Before it crashes, I usually have one or more pages crash ("Gah! Your tab crashed"). After it crashes, it may or may not invoke the Mozilla crash reporter. Below are a few of the recent crash reports. Can anyone give me some guidance that might help stop the crashes?

I tried the following methods, but crash of Firefox is not improved.

1) Firefox crashes by the safe mode. 2) I checked memory with Memtest86+. However, the error was not detected. 3)After having completely uninstalled Firefox, it crashes even if I install the latest edition again.

well on my computer I only work on three four software. so the moment I start laptop I start Firefox and visual studio code, it works well in start but yeah it takes much time to start also. And I have sent the error reporting but i didn't worked out well. I don't know how it work but yeah I was expecting to get a response on my mail but yeah I didn't got any mail. Also I checked on google and tried repairing of corrupted files. It took me around 2 hrs, but still the same eve my Firefox crashed. and when it crashes one time then even if u restart a hundred time. it didn't work well. It only work when I restart the lap. and it just killing my work. and recently its like write 2-3 pages of code or debug and then again Firefox crash then restart and all...

I think my rest software are working well so I didn't asked for windows support. Thanks

firefox crashes all the time ,especially facebook,i thought it was my video card ,so i went out and bought a new video card,it still crashes,i have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled firefox ,i have disabled all addons ,i have disabled hardware acceleration,i have no problems with any other browser but firefox,here are a list of my Submitted Crash Reports

Hi, some of our users are experiencing crashes. I believe they click on a link appearing on a windows forms app and this causes firefox to crash. This also causes the windows forms app to crash as well. The issue appears to be intermittent. Can we please get some more details and potentially a solution to avoid this in the future?

I have been crashing for a week now, ever since Firefox updated to the latest program. I have tried all the suggestions...Safe Mode and unchecking Hardware Acceleration. It still crashes. It even crashes when I am on my home page trying to read the news. No matter what I'm doing, it crashes. And, of course, I have to start all over again once it does. I must have 40 crash reports since the update. I'm so frustrated that nothing works. Does anyone have any suggestions besides chucking Mozilla and changing my browser to something like Chrome of I Explorer? I've been with Mozilla for 20 years and rather stay with them. Sometimes it happens during the day too, but it always happens every night.

When I check the crash reports, the signature line says "OOM | small", which confirms my observation that it's running out of memory. On those occasions where it happens during the day, and I can catch it, the Peak Working Set in Windows Task Manager reveals that Firefox used all available memory before it crashed. (I have 8 gb total.)

It doesn't make any difference how many tabs I have open. I can have one tab open - about:home e.g. - and it can still crash with "OOM | small".

I wonder if Firefox spawns some background process that typically only runs at night, and that process is failing for some reason.

Every day when I open Firefox I navigate to one specific page (aspx page hosted within my organisation) This page requires authentication, I provide the credentials and most of the time am able to access the webpage. However, I frequently get the error message "Not enough memory is available to complete this request" Once this message has occurred, I cannot access the website until the hosting server has been rebooted - be it days or weeks later.

Google chrome is able to access the web page at all times with no issues - but I would rather be using Firefox. I am running Firefox 61.0.1 (64 bit). Starting Firefox in safe mode did not fix the problem. My computer also has a very ample supply of memory (rarely ever exceeds 40% usage - and most of that is Firefox!)
