jscher2000 i think you are correct. The blue link in the PDF file is not a web link but a link to the specific attachment. It appears browsers are currently unable (not programmed) to access attachments directly. I tried in MS Edge with the same result. After contacting MS Support, MS stated that they are aware of the issue and that they are working to fix it in a future release of Edge.

Attachments can be accesses in Adobe Acrobat as you described, but it would be good to be able to access them directly from Firefox instead of having to save them and then using Acrobat.

In the past two days, any add-on I add to FF browser. does not have a "Pin" option ellipsis activated . Some of my other settings are also botched up: tab used to open on hitting "return" among them.

All comments etc, are either convoluted, unintelligible, and ALL do not address this issue. If someone knows what to do, chime in. many of us have this issue. But please, have a real solution or don't bother us.

Ever since I installed Firefox 123.0, when I execute a search on Yahoo.com, Firefox automatically opens up a new window or tab (depending upon how you have it set up in settings) when it didn't before. When I try this with Firefox using Google.com to search, it does NOT open up a new window/tab. But when I try it with Yahoo.com when using Google Chrome, it does NOT open up a new tab. So it would appear that the behavior is being caused by something in Firefox.

I tried making various changes in settings and Firefox about:config that were recommended in previous questions here, but they did not alter the behavior. I would like the behavior to return to simply performing the search within the same window (I can always scroll back to get the original page). Can anyone help?

After an update yesterday, I found out the password manager integrated in Firefox was completely empty. I tried to rename logins.json.corrupt into logins.json, I tried deactivating all the plugins and I also tried copying the file into a new Firefox profile but it got corrupted right away again. If I put in an old logins.json it works but unfortunately it's a saved file from about 3 years ago.... Any idea about how I could get my passwords back? How to "uncorrupt" the logins.json?

Thank you in advance.

We have an intranet site behind an Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) - after updating the SSL certificate, the website will no longer allow Firefox clients to log in.

They will be prompted to sign in (with a default sign in prompt, not even the website login prompt), even if you enter the correct user/password it will continue to prompt you. The new cert works with Edge, Safari, and Chrome - I've enabled the following settings in about:Config network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris, network.negotiate-auth.delegation-uris, network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris, and set signon.autologin.proxy to be true - but the issue still persists.

Has anyone seen this/been able to figure this out? I've seen a few other posts, but no resolutions. Does Firefox not support Certificate Signature Algorithm SHA-384 With RSA Encryption? This is the only difference I can see between the 2 certificates; the original is SHA-256 With RSA Encryption.

Thank you!

How can I turn this message off? Some sites I visit give me that message, it shows up when I'm typing a reply to something which pushes the page lower and fouls up my ability to keep typing, then if goes away, comes back, goes away ... I just want to kill the message entirely. I'm not worried about speed, there's nothing to fix, I just want the message gone.

Hey! I use Firefox to create my websites, but the browser no longer saves (file:///C:/sukujut/list_1/Mattimakinen.htm) htm data and images. It only stores small files and image quantities, but not the size I need (e.g. 22mt). I create an htm file and an image file through family stories, open them in the Firefox browser, and after the page opens, I save them as a web page, the whole thing - in a Microsoft Expression Web program file. At this point, if the file is even slightly larger, it will save the htm file, but not the image file at all. A warning triangle appears next to the save button and the message: download failed. Mattimakinen.htm - download failed - local file.

I have reinstalled firefox, no help. The browser saves the plain htm file, but not with the photos. I am currently doing genealogy and an important area is photographs.

I've been hoping it would get better over the years but it's been a very long time and things never got better so I'm wondering why is the "new"(I think it's been close to 7 years now) addon is so restrictive?

I can't live without tab grouping and it's impossible to do the way I like with this new addon system and none of the many alternative are as good so it's been keeping me away from firefox since the change.

Is there a reason it's kept that way? I'd really like to come back to firefox because I'm sick of chrome and the smaller browsers have many compatibility issues because website ignore them but as long as the addon system remain as-is, I just can't.

Running Windows 10 and Firefox 102.9.0esr 64-bit. I seem to have affected the print facility so that the contents of a frame within a webpage do not print. The frame contents do show on the preview screen but then disappear when the Print button is pressed and they are not printed. The rest of the webpage is printed OK. Typically this happens to the 'Sellers Description' on an Ebay item. I have upgraded to Firefox 115.7.0esr but this has not fixed the problem. The print works fine on another machine running Windows 10 and Firefox 91.6.0esr 64-bit. Is there a way to get the full print back? Regards, LRB

The Command+M keyboard shortcut only minimizes Firefox one time after the initial boot of the system and stop working thereafter. Opening the Window menu in the top menu bar and then clicking minimize also fails to minimize Firefox. The only thing that works to minimize the Firefox window is clicking on the minimize bar on the top left of the window.

How do I get COMMAND + M to consistently minimize Firefox?

I have not updated firefox in a while, but recently got an error on netflix that my browser was no longer compatible and to update

So I updated to the latest version of firefox - 122.01 (64-bit) but now I have a new problem. I cannot watch anything on netflix or hulu (though I can on max for some reason).

Each time I try to play anything on netflix I get a white screen on firefox and it automatically takes me back to the sign in page of netflix. Each time I try to play anything on hulu it plays BUT I cannot see the video. I can hear it but the actual video isn't shown, the controls are there but I can only see the the menu/other things to watch of hulu (picture attached) though I can't actually click on any of the other shows

I do not have this problem on chrome but firefox is my main browser, can i get any assitance Things I have already tried: I completely cleared my history & cache after signing out of everything (did this twice). Turned off computer, signed back in but still have this issue
