I have been using 1Password 7 to manage my login credentials. It includes a Firefox extension to fill in account names and passwords in login alerts and pages.

Firefox 147.0.1 (macOS aarch64) in January 2026 has broken 1Password 7's ability to fill in account names and passwords.

To reproduce: 1. Install 1Password 7 Version 7.9.11 (70911000) and its extension version 4.7.5.90 in Firefox 147.0.1 on macOS. 2. Visit a URL for which 1Password 7 has login credentials. 3. Click on the toolbar icon for 1Password 7. A 1Password 7 dialogue box pops down from the icon, containing the username and password for that URL. 4. Click the Autofill button in that dialogue box.

Observed behaviour: 1. Username and Password fields remain blank.

Expected behaviour: 1. Username and Password from 1Password 7 appear in the Username and Password fields.

For approximately the last three months, there was a partial failure similar to this. 1. 1Password 7 popdown dialogue moves from the toolbar icon to the Firefox tab for that URL. 2. Username and Password fields remain blank. 3. Workaround: click in the username field, then tab 2-4 times to further UI objects in the login credentials form. Then click the 1Password toolbar icon, then click the Autofill button in the popdown dialogue. Then, the Username and Password from 1Password 7 appear in the Username and Password fields.

The expected behaviour occurs for the same URLs in Safari.

Thus I suspect that Firefox has somehow changed its behaviour in the last few months to cause this regression. I have not changed the 1Password software versions in this time, because I am intentionally using a previous version of 1Password.

I am looking for a fix or workaround which works with my current 1Password software version. I am not interested in a solution which requires me to upgrade to the current version of 1Password. (The current version of 1Password imposes a feature which I am resisting.) I realise that this reduces the chance that I can persuade the Firefox team to find and correct this regression.

Hi, I tried to drag and move a tab (worked everytime till now). After I tried to move it toolbar freezed (The image is what I mean by toolbar). Url bar, forward, backward, refresh and 3 lines for settings doesnt work. Only things that works is downloads and side bar. I can also click on tabs and they will open, but moving them wont work. Drag and move options is True.

When I try to quit and reopen firefox, everything works fine until I try to move a tab again. I tried editing the tool bar and default toolbar settings, that wont work either.

Look at the attachment image. The 'Help' in the Firefox bar won't work anymore. I'm not able to get the Troubleshoot Mode to work.

I manually added shortcuts to my home screen, but everytime I open the browser, the system automatically has added shortcuts I don't want. Also, when I delete these unwanted shortcuts, another unwanted one appears.

how can I stop this from happening?

FF does not block pop ups when box checked.

Firefox Permissions yesterday blocked Pop Up for viewing my online documents with message "Permission to access file denied" .

I was able to view my online documents after Adding the merchants website to Firefox Permission Exception for Pop Ups, clicked "Allow" and Clicked "Save Changes".   

Next day, the Merchants website no longer appear in Permission Pop Up Exceptions Window, its now empty.

And now I am no longer able to block viewing my online documents as Pop Ups - my online documents are no longer Blocked when I click the "View" button -even though Permission Block Pop Ups box is checked and no websites appear in Permission block Pop Ups Exception Window.

I have tried a few suggestions from Reddit which did not solve the issue.

Please help.

I have two credit cards saved in Firefox 147.0.2. When a web site asks for my cc info, a yellow box opens identifying both cards. When I hover over one, the boxes are filled in in yellow. When I click on the card i wish to use, everything disappears and all of the boxes are blank and back to their original color.

I am on a MAC running Tahoe OS 26.2

I'm unable to find the sync bookmarks,

I'm trying for a long time, in my iPhone and MacBook, both Apps are the latest, using the same email and the Bookmarks do not show in any of the devises.

I'm having problems getting Firefox to work in Protonmail un able to send emails ...Copy& Paste......I think it is this New Version.............When I removed it from my applications & downloaded Google Chrome it all worked, that tells me the problem is with Fire Fox version I think

My Dashlane password manager extension wasn't working, so I deleted it and planned to reinstall it. When I tried to download this extension again, I got the following error message: "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt."

I have the most recent update of Firefox 147.0.2 (64-bit). Please let me know how to fix this issue, as I heavily rely on this extension to sign in to most websites.

I've lost my bookmarks after Firefox restarted after computer crash today. The bookmarks library is empty, and I could not find another profile. I could not find "Old Firefox Date" on my desktop.

I'm on a Macbook Air, Apple M2, Sequoia 15.3.1

I am signed in on all my devices. Yet nothing has synced since October 2025. So none of the books marks from my laptop display on my desktop in bookmark folder. The folders don't even match what is on my laptop. How do I fix and how do I prevent in the future?

Firefox won't allow other websites to correct my spelling. This is a big deal and I will have to go back to safari if there isn't a fix. I am using a new computer and new firefox download. Can u help?

Firefox doesn't respond after attempts to sign on to GMAIL or Amazon (both with passkey option). I have to force quit from Apple Mac main menu. I am using LastPass.
