Hello, I am from Ukraine and I use a translator, sorry for that. I have poor physical and mental health. I have Windows XP and there is no possibility to buy a newer computer. Yesterday all my browser extensions were disabled. They are very important to me. I accept and understand all the risks. I beg you, please let me use these extensions. Please help...

I used to have an occasional sound problem with FF, usually felt when YT clips could not be heard any more. I mean to remember that it could be fixed (until next time) by restarting the file explorer somewhere in Task Manager - not a convincing solution but one I could live with.

Today, there's a new situation. Again, trigger was the missing YT sound in FF - not in fx Edge, and that the Task Manager trick didn't work (or maybe I restarted the file manager in the wrong tab?). Looking for a solution, I happened to see that the YT mute function in the FF tabs seems to be gone. However, other sounds are affected likewise. Also, I can't see them in Edge either. After various restarts (or maybe something else I did, instigated by the various instructions I found?), the sound is back.

However, while continuing to pursue possible solutions, I also happened to find that my browser is being 'administered by my organisation' - what ever that means (see two annexes). Who did that? I would say, this is not something I did, I would prefer to see it gone. But how? Will the other browsers (which I keep as a spare, and that I'm hardly familiar with) be likewise affected?

This is an equation with too many unknowns for my limited knowledge, are such effects known? Would there be an approved way-out for it?

I am running Mozilla Firefox on Windows 11. I am using Rogers Yahoo Mail. Unfortunately the mail program has "Spell Check". It can best be described as intrusive. Every letter I type in my mail the spell check keeps popping up and bothering/interfering me to the point where it is very annoying and frustrating. I need to get rid of it permanently. I saw some suggestions where I could go to 'settings' and uncheck the box that says 'check your spelling as you type', it was unchecked and the spell check keeps popping up non stop! PLEASE show me how I can stop this aggravating feature. Thanks, Larry

I want these blocks off my phone, email and anywhere else they are interfering with my services. I believe it was done through GitHub but I’ve had enough, plz help. I can’t even use safari , Facebook , and other websites! Anyway I can’t stand it anymore

I used Chrome until two days ago. I just got tired with how shitty the browser was, how bloated it made my computer, and how much Google treats everyone like a data product. However, I use hella google systems from Voice to Chrome to Drive to more and it all worked great together. Choosing to change to Firefox wasn't an easy decision but I knew it was a good one

Which makes it super irritating that some of the functionality is already facing problems. I have shortcuts I built to make it easier to study or do random things so I don't get distracted or tired. One shortcut is clicking a key that should launch UWorld in my default browser & use Lastpass to autologin (I couldn't get it to launch the service but that was a separate issue).

I check if autologin was on for the password on LastPass I've allowed all permissions to the LastPass extension I clear my cookies on UWorld & turned off enhanced tracking protection for the UWorld login portal site

What should I do to fix my one button shortcut again?

I really don't want to go randomly turning off every protection that Firefox gives me to figure it out so I'd appreciate someone who understands the browser better helping me out. Also, bonus points if you can help me build a single shortcut button on my Mac that can launch UWorld & navigate me straight to the question bank. (I do think the issue with autologin on LastPass is going to become more of an issue as I start opening up more websites I used to use on Chrome so I'd rather nip it in the bud before I see the problem occur more often)

Good day,my firefox has been acting weird for the last weeks.Everyday I have to re-login to all the sites I have been to,as if it doesn't save.E.g my email,I might login today,but tomorrow i have to re-login.Or youtube,today i login,tomorrow i have to re-login,confirming that I'm the one by going on the phone and pressing the correct verification number.Please,would you like to help me with this,so that i no longer need a phone and so that i no longer have to re-login the whole time.Some sites i had yesterday aren't even here now.

I don't what or how it happened.

But one night all I can remember was I updated my Firefox in Windows and my account was synced. I use to have all my browser history on my Macbook air. But suddenly the next day I discover that all of my history is gone. I have no idea what caused or how I can recover it again. I tried the internet and nothing helped me with my problem. So now I'm resorting to this and hopefully someone can tell me what to do.

I could swear when I went from one computer to another computer and signed into firefox that it showed me all my bookmarks, addons and extensions.

I'm on another new computer many years later and when I signed into my account I don't see my bookmarks, extensions and addons anymore.

Anything change since many years ago?
