Unlike before, many sites that I visit regularly, I am now having to log in every time I visit, including support.mozilla.org.

Did I unknowingly change something, some setting? or perhaps it's due to an addon?

since this morning , every time i open firefox it keeps asking me to sign in to all my accounts, google, netflix, youtube etc.

Clearing Broswer cache

This is what shows up: Your stored cookies, history, site data, and cache are currently using 108 MB of disk space.

I had expected it to be close to zero.

What's the scoop?
