I suppose this is a kind of support question, of sorts, but in my opinion this also has to be treated as a complaint, in a sense.

About one and a half months ago, Firefox became unresponsive, that is, it became awfully slow. I experienced just about every issue with the browser that was mentioned in the following support pages and support issues (posted by others) and I read all of those :

An oddball situation had occurred in which I couldn't for the likes of me go to my librarything.com homepage at each restart of the previous Firefox session, which also causes lagging when the session wants to connect to the other (normally unproblematic) website session tabs, and I also get multiple connection errors + insecure connection notifications for some of these websites. (sometimes refreshing a page does not help, sometimes it does)

I got bored reading all those support pages and trying out the solutions, because nothing seemed to help. In the long run, I decided to de-install the whole browser after backing up bookmarks, speeddial settings, passwords and the whole profile. Simultaneously, I also tested the connectivity to these websites in another browser (Brave) and this did not present me with any problem.

So I did the following :

1) deleted the whole cache and closed the browser 2) uninstalled FF with Revo Uninstaller (which has an option to remove all remnant files / folders/ registry items on the Hard Drive) 3) made sure to remove all cached leftovers from HD by using multiple cleanup tools in succession : 1) Wise Disk Cleaner followed by 2) Bleachbit followed by 3) CCleaner

Went to the mozilla website, downloaded and installed the last version of FF. Next, imported bookmarks, speeddial settings and passwords. Next, reinstalled the Firefox extensions I used before (without any lag until one and a half months ago). I also did NOT copy the stored profile but decided on starting afresh with a new profile.

Everything worked lightning fast and efficiently until a few days ago, when I received an automatic update of Firefox - 151.0.3 - and all of a sudden, the same problems are reoccurring. And again, I can't connect to an unproblematic website like librarything.com, whereas before the update I was able to without any problem !!!

What the hell is going on with these auto-updates ???

When there is a field to fill in my credit card info, the info will appear and let me select the CC I want to use but when I move away from the field the CC info goes away.

As of today, this was the situation (image 1). I had to do a manual update.

Also, when I first visited here today, I was not logged in. I 'd like to stay logged in. Then, I couldn't have been here for more than 15 seconds, and this appeared. How can a session be expired when there was no session? Is this part of the reason I don't stay logged in?

After copying profile that's already synced to my old account, I'm unable to set sync that copied profile to new mozilla account. According to support page, it should sync just fine by using different mozilla account. From what I noticed, this new copy profiles feature doesn't make a new profile in about:profiles, could this be an issue?

Subscription VPN quit working. When I fill out the help request and hit submit, It says "not working, try using a browser". I am in the Mozilla browser. Everything I try brings me back to the same

I have firefox on another PC with wallpaper I wish to install on my current firefox. I have identified its name = "Abstract". I'm experiencing a strange issue with Firefox. Some websites are not loading properly, including my own website, YT Thumbnails. In some cases, pages load partially, while other times they remain stuck loading or display missing content.

I've tried refreshing the pages, clearing the cache, and restarting the browser, but the problem still persists.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue in Firefox? Could this be related to browser settings, DNS, extensions, or network configuration?

I play online bridge (Trickster) twice a week and set up Firefox to share video and sound with my USB mic. (Windows 10 desktop, Trickster opened in Firefox). Most of the time it works fine but occasionally the other bridge players will tell me they can no longer hear me. When I click on the mic icon the message is that Firefox is using the mic. The settings still say that the mic is being shared. Sometimes a windows reset will fix the problem but not always. Can you explain what might be happening.

When I first installed firefox a while ago something popped up and I wasn't paying attention to what it was before I clicked it and every since whenever I click share on any website it will not work.

It works in any other browser except for Firefox..

There are audio and video files for which I receive in the console that they can't be decoded. Media resource could not be decoded, error: Error Code: NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_RANGE_ERR (0x806e0069)

I have explored every option and find it is the latest FF update that has effected the web performance of both my Desktop and laptop. Both are running Windows 1O. Incredibly slow connectivity and some sites either time out or simply won't connect. Very frustrating. Please advise. Tks

hello i am facing an error when trying to access my firefox account , every time i enter my credentials , the system shows an error message and prevents me from logging in; i need to sync my boomarks and data; so any helb to get my account working again would be highly appreciated , thank you

Running Windows 10 but with extra year of security updates. Several web sites were running very slow or not loading at all. So I tried doing system restore - only went back 3 days but afterward said it had some problems, and link to Firefox did not work. So I did system recovery back to time from which I had just done restore. But I had no link to Firefox so had to download it new. But now I have none of my previous tabs, links, saved passwords,,etc. I'm hoping my previous Firefox is still on my PC and there is a way I can run it.

On my Firefox homepage I had four rows of bookmark shortcuts. I recently decided to switch some of them out but I made a mistake and chose Dismiss. Now my homepage only has three rows of shortcuts even though in the options it still says four and there doesn't seem to be a way to re-add them or bring them back. How do I restore the slots that were dismissed?
