Just recently, I can not login into several websites using "Firefox". With other browsers, I have no problem. For example, whenever I try to login to Evernote , I get the following error: "The page isn’t redirecting properly. An error occurred during a connection to www.evernote.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." I had no prior problems before and I have made no changes to my settings. Apparently, there is something broken in Firefox because no other browsers produce this error. I have already tried the suggested solutions such as clearing history, cache and everything else. I have even uninstalled and re-installed several times but it always eventually returns to this state. Firefox has always been my favorite browser, but if this error can not be fixed, I have no problem dropping it forever and switching to a more reliable browser. Please fix this, don't force me to change browsers.

Attached is a sample of how web pages display. These can either initially display this way or, as in this example, the page opened correctly, I stepped away for a few minutes and when I viewed the page again it looked like the example. I can have a page open and it is displaying correctly, then open a new tab and go to a different site and the text will look like the example.

I have cleared the cache, dumped all the cookies. Restarting the browser (I do this many times a day) will fix the current page but eventually another page will display like this.

I running version 84.0.2 64bit on a Mac Pro Mojave. I don't have this problem with other browsers like Chrome or Safari. I never see it on my Windows 10 system.

Within the last week, I have been unable to view posted images sent to me from apparently only the USPS website. Images embedded or attached to other emails have not been a problem. I use Yahoo (AT&T) as the mail service. This issue does not exist with other browsers used - Google, Edge or Opera. It appears to be only this particular combination of browser, email client and website. I have done all of the suggested tasks including re-installing Firefox. Apparently both Firefox and the USPS updated portions of their software in the last week or so. Also note that I am not tech savvy. Thanks.

Accessing :Politico.com there is a Politico Wuerker cartoon 'list'. The first item is always available. To migrate to any following item on the list I get a "you may skip ad in" with no further text. In the past, refresh would allow the next cartoon to be shown. Now, refresh returns to the first cartoon.

Current operation:

  1. Select the URL above
  2. Select any of the numbered bubbles on the bottom or the right 'arrow'
  3. "you may skip ad in" is displayed.
  4. Select refresh, and we start over.

In the past, refresh would migrate to the next jpg image.

On microsoft edge, in the past, (1) there was a right block arrow, (2) clicking on the arrow gets you to the "you may skip ad in" message, and displayed with this is a check box to allow skipping the ad.

As just a curiosity, why did Firefox elect to change the right block arrow to a rectangular black image?

thanks

Doesn't help if I type the whole url. Urls with id 1394 and 1396 work. I have previously visited the page in question. The page works on other browsers.
