Over the last 6 months, and increasing number of websites don't open on Firefox. I've noticed it most consistently on any of the wikipedia/wikimedia pages, but it's not just those. When I type in an address and press return, or click on a link, the browser just acts as if nothing has happened. There does not show me the loading symbole. If I ask it to open a new tab with the site, the address appears on the tab, but the page itself is just black. Other browsers have no problem loading the same sites. I am on a mac, and using a VPN. Restarting the browser doesn't help, though restarting the computer sometimes does.

Thank you,

I have been using Firefox on Ubuntu for over 5 years over the past few months face book does not recognize me when I sign in. Face Book ask me to confirm it is me signing in as they think it is someone trying to hack my account. They send me a code to my email I put this into face book and they let me in to my account. They ask me to change my password this i tried they would not except it as they did not recognize my web site connection. They ask me to sign by another means IE mobile phone this I tried but Face Book did not except that either. I also got a notification from MY Heritage web site this is what they sent me.

We noticed that your My Heritage account was accessed just now from a new device or location: Firefox on Ubuntu | United Kingdom If it was you and you recently logged in from a new device or a new location, all is well and you can ignore this notification. Note that this notification may have been sent to you due to changes in your internet connection (e.g. a new IP address was assigned to you by your provider, or a recent use of a VPN service). Can anybody help please Thank you in advance Tony

When I open my StartMail on my desktop computer I get a blank screen and cannot sign in. All of my other programs work just fine. I have no idea what I did while preparing to send an email on May 6th and StartMail disappeared. I’ve checked history, restarted my commuter, cleared all history and get everything else back each time. StartMail continues to open as usual on our laptop computer.

bold text We can’t connect to the server at (many URL's)

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

I am having this same issue with many things I enter into FireFox at the moment. What is wrong and how can FF resolve it?)

Today, when I logged onto my computer, something went wrong and Windows had to repair my C: drive before it could continue to boot up. Once it did, Firefox was changed. Some of the shortcuts on the windows were missing and I couldn't get them back with the command to "Dismiss" the substitutes. More serious was my new inability to log onto any sites besides Mozilla's. I have tried restarting the computer and turning off my router and turning it back on again. All the while, my Android phone account is able to login to some of these sites without difficulty. I need to diagnose this problem and fix it. How can I do that, please?

Why since a recent update of Firefox have I not been able to access Bitchute, which I have been safely using for about 5-8 years at least to watch videos like the XX-22 Report that have long been banned or restricted on sites like YouTube? This also affects some site i use to download videos including from Bitchute and Rumble. I would really appreciate if we can resolve this matter as Bitchute is the primary site I use to access independent news that is restricted on mainstream media.

Kind regards, Robert

After updating FF to v. 136.0 in Linux Mint 22.04, I noticed a problem with video playback in Facebook in some posts. A black screen appears with the message "Sorry, there were problems playing this video". The problem also occurs after disabling all plugins and deleting the user.js file from the profile. The problem does not occur after starting firefox in troubleshoot mode, but then hardware acceleration using the GPU does not work (Compositing: WebRender (Software)). I noticed that in version 136 there were some significant changes in the topic of video decoding. https://www.phoronix.com/forums/forum/software/desktop-linux/1524008-firefox-136-beta-finally-enables-hardware-video-decoding-for-amd-gpus-on-linux-by-default I have an NVIDIA GT1030 GPU with 2 MB VRAM.
