I had a system crash, probably with Firefox opened.
After restarting PC and starting Firefox, most of the addons I have had lost all of their settings and were reset to default - Tampermonkey lost all the scripts I had installed, uBlock lost all settings and rules, etc. Weirdly some extensions kept portions of their settings, like TreeTabs saved tree structure despite also getting reset to default.
Additionally Firefox also got its own settings reset to default, while the tabs from my session and bookmarks were saved.
Is there any way to recover addon and Firefox settings, is there any backup of them?

Windows 7 Professional Firefox 64 bit stable, up to date
Its is running on a 10 year old slow computer, the add-on script is unresponsive because it is running on a slow computer.
I had a similar problem with "Warning: Unresponsive script" but was able to get rid of those annoying notices by setting dom.max_script_run_time to zero.
I do not want to stop the script, the add-on adds security. I just do not want to ever see one of these notices on that computer ever again. I have to deal with them dozens of times each day and only use the computer for a few hours. Each time it interrupts what I'm doing to take me to a different tab to slowly deal with the problem.
The problem isn't the add-on script being slow, its the computer being slow. And the fact that the warning gives me no way to disable it so I keep getting it time after time after time...
Thanks

Tried to do it by saving the xpi to local and installing from there, but exactly same thing occurs.
Firefox 60.x ESR on Linux (slackware).
Is there anything else I might try please ?

I try to install add-on for Firefox through Windows Registry entry. In this article: "https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/Distribution_options/Add-ons_in_the_enterprise" - described that I should specify the location of the xpi-file. For exemple, instal "uBlock Origin" by CMD script:
reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions /v uBlock0@raymondhill.net /d D:\Download\ublock_origin-1.18.6-an+fx.xpi
If I want instal add-on from URL? I try do this by CMD script:
reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions /v uBlock0@raymondhill.net /d https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/1709472/ublock_origin-1.18.6-an+fx.xpi
But, nothing work! Is it possible to install add-on by downloading xpi-file from URL (AMO domain)?

So a while ago I accidentally put my PC into hibernate mode, after waking it back up the PC proceeded to crash. (This has been a problem with my PC since I got it. Still don't know why it can't go into hibernate mode without it crashing but this is not the issue right now.)
Anyway after the crash, I log back in and everything for the most part is fine, except Firefox. I had firefox open when it crashed, so I expected it to be effected, but for some reason a lot of my add-on data just disappeared. For instance, a lot of tabs opened up as if I got the add-on for the first time, which can't be right. Stylish lost its webpage edits, Reddit Enhancement Suite's setting information got reset, the theme I was using wasn't active and I had to turn it back on, and the toolbar(not sure what you call it) had reset back to the default appearance with the flexible space and what not. I want to get back the firefox information before the crash. I would think firefox sync would fix this but it didn't. I'm very confused on why this happened.
