I need to follow many hyperlinks. Everything worked fine and the followed hyperlinks changed from blue to purple. In the last 2 days, they stay blue. I have gone to settings and reset it multiple times, but the only way I can get the change is to make the screen high contrast, which I do not want. I have refreshed Firefox. I have the latest update (which might be what changed). What is the problem?

How do I add the icon for an add-on which is not shown when I click on "customize toolbar"? When I click customize toolbar the result does not show any of the icons for add-ons/extensions.

Why does unsubscribing from email communications not work with my Mozilla account?

I am starting to regret ever giving them my email address.

No matter how many times I unsubscribe I keep getting SPAM from Mozilla.

Nothing is selected under email communications. I never selected anything in the first place but I keep getting Tips.

This morning, after a reboot of my Laptop during the night, I opened Firefox with the frustrating surprise that I lost all my bookmarks and all my history (websites and downloads). The saved passwords looks fine.

How could that have happen? Need your help to get those back... specifically my bookmarks!

Note: I went trough several support articles of Firefox but none helped. I tried to restore my bookmarks but got the message "Unable to process the backup file.".

Prior to recent updates, Firefox tabs that were opened from a link on a webpage would always open right next to the current tab. Which was fine and wonderful. Sadly, following recent version updates new tabs opened from links now tend to 'wonder' off to the far end of whatever other links may have also been opened previously from that site. The problem with this new behaviour is that such tabs quickly become lost amongst the various branches of the tree as other links are opened in 'child' tabs of links that have gone before. In short, this new behaviour results in a complete confusing mess, especially as the newly opened tabs may end up so far off to the right that it's difficult to find the way back to the page they were opened from! Please could you at least provide an option so the user can set new links to open right next to the current tab, as they used to do, rather than some no doubt logical but nonetheless baffling and impractical location some 6, 21 or even more tabs away from the current tab. bold textI forgot my primary password on my PC and I have my account synced with my phone and i still have access to my passwords from my phone. can I reset the primary passsword on the PC then re- sync it with my phone to restore all the login information? or would it also get deleted from my phone?

ever since the most recent update last night, these horrid blue boxes have appeared around every intractable element once clicked on (except on complex js based websites like twitter and youtube), no amount of farting around in about:config nor even using troubleshooting mode has gotten rid of them. caret browsing is off. windows' narrator is off. ive also tried disabling all of my plugins, which had no effect

it appears to be the exact same issue that this user was having. i tried all the solutions in that thread. no dice. i have also tried all the solutions in this reddit thread

ive tested these same sites in opera gx to compare, it does not exhibit this faulty behaviour.

i need this fixed as soon as possible as firefox remains my daily driver due to being the only browser that still has good plugin support and decent customization

I am new to Firefox and I have no idea if I have setup everything correctly to secure my PC? As a Pensioner I am finding this extremely difficult and have no idea where to or how to get to any of the pages in Firefox to check if I have correctly secured my PC? Please would someone be kind to take control of my PC and check for me please? I would be most grateful for you kind assistance herewith.

I am trying to remove the "Other Bookmarks" folder from Firefox 111 on a Windows 10 PC. I have tried the fix from a couple of years back, using about:config and changing the entry from true to false. The item is still flagged as false but, despite restarting Firefox and then Window, the folder is still showing. How do I get rid of this, for me at least, unnecessary folder?

I'm not sure how this happened but now having a hard time reading text because the background is so bright. I went to settings but was unable to find any way to change the brightness or at least a darker background cover. Please help.

I was totally blindsided by the changes imposed by the switch to this feature. Having now read up on it I can understand the need for it, but IMHO the implementation is... not optimal. Why do we have to have two "overflow" icons? Why could the two functions (traditional overflow list and new Extensions Management) not be maintained under a single button/function as before? (I don't care which symbol would be used, but splitting up the access to these functions? Come on!) AND why can we no longer order the items on the new overflow menu the way we want? --at least, I haven't found a way to move them around. Further, when extensions say that they "Can't read and change data on this site", does that mean that the extension is broken, nonfunctional, locked out, etc., or are we required to do something to restore it to functionality? -And if so, do we have to do this for every extension, on every site? Let me just say, not a huge fan at this point. Ugh.

Im trying to uninstall fire fox cause i prefer another browser but when i press uninstall it doesn't to anything and i tried to search up the problem but nothing pops up

you are a bunch of nut cases. you post that you can help me edit a pdf then it takes me nowhere. I guess you have to have fired by McDonalds to work for firefox. very disappointed.

I have over 800 emails in my trash folder. Do they delete automatically every month? If not, how do I empty the folder? Also, when I take a screenshot of something, how do I email the screenshot?

Firefox version 111.01 (64bit). I use a desktop PC and WIN 10. Since the recent update, I am unable to open Yahoo Mail consistently. I had trouble this morning and finally it opened. I closed it and tried to open it again but it wouldn't open. THIS IS THE ERROR MESSAGE:

"The page isn’t redirecting properly. Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

This is a SERIOUS PROBLEM for me. I must be able to access my email. Please repair.
