Hi, I re uploaded FireFox and when I used to open a new tab, it used to show all the previous sites I had been on like Yahoo, Amazon, Ebay and such. Even though I checked the Top Sites (4 rows) to show up when I click on a new tab..the 4 rows of sites I have viewed are not showing up yet..

So, how I do fix this and or when will I be able to see the 4 rows of sites I have just viewed?

Thank you.

I have 2 windows of firefox and i close it using bat file. Which terminates process firefox. I used it like that long time and never had problem. However i launched firefox and it said some error and gave me 2 choices: either start in safe mode or refresh. I clicked on refresh and now all my tabs are gone. I checked under history and closed windows - there is nothing... Any way to get my tabs back?

Also how to avoid this issue, if you close window one by one. Than you go to go to library and history and manually restore window, or press some hotkey. Even that is annoying, instead of just using bat file to kill process and than you have both windows open. Because sometimes close window won't safe, if you use hotkey. So i gave up on that...

The main focus of my issue is that Firefox's sudden new behaviour of it opening normally when it launches, with my previous tabs remembered as I set is immediately followed by the browser quickly re-launching within seconds. While this isn't a big concern when I open Firefox from its shortcut, it's become a serious issue when I launch Firefox from an external URL, like from an email, or when viewing an original picture posted in a Discord chat channel.

When the relaunch happens, it's always without the tab that caused Firefox to launch automatically on clicking said external URL. I realize that I need to do an addon check, but that's a long process, so I was rather hoping this was a known issue that someone knows the solution to, or what addon is involved and how.

Relatively minor problem, but: lately, if I enter text too quickly after opening a new tab, the text that I entered into the search bar gets deleted. Maybe half a second or so after opening the tab, this stops and the text enters normally. But, this is frustrating for navigating or searching from new tabs.

Any way to fix this? I am using Firefox 80.0.1 on a Mac. I am also using the Tabliss extension, if that matters.

A lot of times, I'll have a lot of tabs open while working on a project. This takes up a lot of memory, and when I need to switch what I'm working on, I'd rather not keep the window open to improve performance. However, I'd like to easily reopen the tabs that I had before. I know there is a "previously closed windows" feature, but that only seems to save them for a while and is unreliable; additionally, I don't want to dig through my history to find the sites I was on before. Is there any way to do this?

Hi, I am using FF v80.0.1 on ubuntu 18.04.

I noticed that whenever a tab is loading there is now a static (non-spinning) icon. Previously it was spinning. I want it to spin.

In changelog for 80.0 it says:

> For users with reduced motion settings, we’ve reduced a number of animations such as tab loading to reduce motion for users with migraines and epilepsy.

Is there a way to disable this feature?

PayPal pops up a window, which I want to dock as a tab in the main Firefox window.

How do I do that? The "natural" way was to grab the popped-up window and drag it onto the hamburger menu. A quick search only revealed a preference setting to force pop-ups to be tabs, but that is before-the-fact, whereas I would like an after-the-fact solution.

Thanks in advance.
