I've been an avid user of Firefox Monitor for the past few months, but recently over the last few days when I go to https://monitor.firefox.com/user/dashboard and log in, I've been struggling to find the button that allows me to add new email addresses. I've searched the support article for Monitor for this information, but to no avail: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-monitor. So I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction?

Using FF 80 on Linux I'm getting increasing difficulty with processing pages. At first I assumed senility-onset (user not browser) but recently got feedback from a bank help desk that 'unable to process page at this time' was a browser message, not a site message and he advised using Chrome. Hah! Anyway I tried Chromium and it worked perfectly. Often a similar problem with payPal (not always). What's going on?

In the 'olden days' when Firefox was a new kid on the block there used to be a facility to report web sites that would not work with Firefox. Is it time to resurrect this? Is web design now being taken over by Google rather than (in the 'olden days') Microsoft?

Hi !

PROBLEM: This is a recent problem. I didn't have this issue before. When I open a pdf in firefox and print it, it prints 1/4 size (top left corner).

ATTEMPTS AT TROUBLESHOOTING - I've tried adjusting the scaling options on my printer, but still get the same results. - I've confirmed "printer_paper_data" is set to "1" for both Adobe PDF as well as a my printer, "Brother_HL_2270DW" - Made sure printers were set to shrink to fit = true

My settings are configured to open pdf documents in firefox.

Suddenly, when I access Yahoo Mail through Firefox, I no longer have any contacts when I click on the Contacts button (shows "No Contacts"). This issue just started and is unique to Firefox because if I access Yahoo Mail through Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browsers, all of my contacts are there. I have tried clearing the cache and clearing cookies to no avail. All other email functions still work properly in Firefox. Any suggestions?

How can I retrieve lost bookmarks? Syncing between two Firefox browsers replaced my newer bookmarks with the bookmarks of my less-often used browser. I expected the newer bookmarks to appear on the other browser. But instead the more-often used browser now has the same bookmarks as the less-oft used one.

As a researcher and writer I'm constantly on the web, and have many downloaded book marks that were organized by folders on the Menu bar. But this old laptop seems to crash frequently when I'm using Firefox. After the most recent crash most of the folders had vanished - three did not.

How can I restore those missing folders to the menu bar? Redoing them is a possibility, but would take a great deal of time.

Thanks,

DMS

Last night, I noticed that the usual Dock icon for Firefox developer Edition had changed from Blue Fox to what looked like the App Store brush/pencil triangle. I restarted but it persisted. Removed the application and re-downloaded and re-installed, but same issue. I then noticed that all the Tools -> Web Developer tools had gone from the menu. Likewise, doing Firefox -> About inserted 'about:preferences' in the search bar, but nothing else happened. Tried launching the settings from the right side hamburger menu, again nothing happened.

Read around a bit, and deleted one of two profiles from ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/..., then tried re-install and restart the Developer Edition, but that complained that a profile was missing. Restored the profile I deleted, but same problem as before.

I'm stumped. Can anyone help with this one please? I'm on Mac, latest version of Mojave.

Thanks

Hello,

I'm beginner in development. Today I'm working on some CSS files.

But when I reload, the content don't load the new features. I've try to clear cache, remove stockage on the console , and also try command + f5 (on iMac).

The only one solution I've founded is to clear cache , leave firefox , shutdown computer and restart.

Very contraignant. I've test on Chrome and it work well. So I don't know what I need to do to...

I'm using MAMP to lauch app on local

Every time I open Firefox, a javascript from IcelandSue.com tries to connect to the internet. I've refreshed Firefox, cleared the cache, used NoScript to block this script, but it always remains. I've found the site listed as a Data Miner and would like to delete it from where ever it has installed itself inside of Firefox. Thank you, jason

pressing Ctrl+F doesn't open the "find in this page" toolbar, on any page.

  • doesn't work in safemode, either
  • DOES work when selecting from the "Edit" menu (where it shows the shortcut as being ctrl+f)
  • I read online that Ctrl+G might work? this one has mixed results for me... I think it's working like F3, repeating the previous search, if there is one, and if it has any matches, and only if neither of those are true, opens the "find in this page" toolbar
  • pressing "/" and apostrophe both do their things (but not when an input/textarea has focus, of course)

Yesterday, my Yahoo bookmarks (not Firefox bookmarks) on my my.yahoo.com page began displaying improperly. They are no longer alphabetized, some don't work, and they each have a grey icon for edit and delete visible next to them. They also are not as compact as they used to be, and I can't collapse any of the folders. This problem does not occur if I use Chrome or Internet Explorer 11. It also does not occur in Firefox on my laptop computer (I am using Firefox 80.0 on both machines). I have tried turning off all extensions, restarting Firefox, logging out and back into My Yahoo, and rebooting the computer. I also tired refreshing Firefox (which I HATE to do). No luck. I have included two images. The small one shows how they are supposed to look (cut from IE) and the larger one shows how they now appear in Firefox.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, as I use these bookmarks all the time.If you need more information, please ask.
