SO many issues with Firefox now! For one, it crashes quite a bit. I submit the crash report, and go from there. Keeps happening. But the main thing is this:

I go to "Options" and under "Privacy" it has "Never remember history" - I change it to "use custom settings for history", hit "ok" and then when I go back to it, it's back on "never remember history" already. What gives?

The issues I'm having right now is that I used to click on Print in my email (Yahoo) and pop-up blocker would stop it, but a dialog would pop up saying "try again", and I would hit that, and a separate window would open where I could print the email. Now, when I click on print, NOTHING happens. No box, no changes whatsoever. No pop-ups blocked, nothing at all. I mean, the button for "print" doesn't even react like I clicked on it. Nothing happens.

The other issue is that when there's a text box, if I start to type my email address, it suggests my email address. It never used to do this! I don't want this, either. How can I stop the suggesting of my email address. I don't want it to remember what I typed!

Another issue with Firefox is that when I click on the "menu" button in the top right, there's a question mark that says "open help menu" at the bottom. When I click on that, the help menu is EMPTY. I included a picture so you can see.

I've "reloaded Firefox", as well as downloaded another copy and actually reinstalled it. All these errors keep happening. How can I get them to stop or function correctly? What's causing them to work all wonky?

Suddenly two valid websites that I frequent are now considered by Firefox to have invalid security certificates, Airbnb.com and sanjoseca.gov (the City of San Jose's official website). The return page from Firefox states the certificates are invalid but NO "ADD EXEMPTION" is listed on the page as an option.

I have waited more than 10 minutes to upload the image and it still hasn't loaded. It has the Technical Details, and the "Get me out of here link" but no "add exemption" link.

I use Airbnb.com frequently and I need a stable interface with them. I contacted both companies and they both told me that they were not aware that their certificate wasn't being recognized by Firefox and that I should download and use Google Chrome instead.

This isn't the first time I've had issues with Firefox. Frequently when applying for a job online, the application forms are not properly exhibited in Firefox but are in Internet Explorer. This makes applying for work very difficult!

It's been 15 minutes and still the image hasn't loaded. I can't wait any longer. Please tell me how to fix this glitch. Thank you.

Repeated crashes, every time opened onpoint.wbur.org . Have exotic installation in Ubuntu 10.4.1, won't do regular install so unpacked new download in Download folder, made a link, and it finds the giant 550Mb profile in main Mozilla. OS somehow knows where it is, so updates or latest security fixes do work automatically. Crashed then with trying to play a VICE award video, got more common, now crashing often. Safe mode didn't seem to help. Either can unpack new 37.0.2 download in a different folder, see how that works, or do that "Refresh Firefox" button which creates a new Profile (I guess) and saves your data.. but then I will never know if I can delete the old one. Have very little space on this installation 7.5GB, 800MB max, and can't use too much more space.

Ubuntu Installation also it at very end of HD, and lappy suffered very hard drop without case recently. Also in hunted a movie torrent, got whacked with some virus (Linux DOES have viruses) that reset flash card drive name, almost trashed 100gb Data partition (unreadable till a couple of reboots), and messed up the BitTransmission torrent client, so may still have it, though ClamAV doesn't find anything. Is there online scanner for Ubuntu???

Firefox 37 -- neither old nor newly saved .maff files will open (using the addon Mozilla Archive Format 3.1.0

I can save new files.

For files I have just saved, get an error box asking me to pick the app to use to open. But Firefox is greyed out.

For older files, when I click there is a visual animated "pop" (how the hell can I describe an animated thing ???) but the file does not open.

Constantly get an error box when I press the red x to quit Firefox. Very aggravating.

Box says that that Firefox crashed. I did not. I shut it down. Box wants me to send error report. I did that a zillion times! I have no special settings for history or stuff like that. This all started with the update to 37.0. Updates 37.1 and 37.2 did not fix this issue either. My system is 64bit windows 8.1. This issue also happening on my laptop. That is windows 7, 32 bit machine. I did a refresh to my Firefox but that did not solve the problem either.

Running WinXP PRO v2002 SP3 Firefox v37.0.2 I have a ton of bookmark folders and bookmarks. I can export to bookmarks.html on desktop that will load to a browser window. I want to completely remove from registry Firefox v37.0.2 and start afresh with v39.0. To test, I deleted a bookmarks folder with a few bookmarks in it. The importing html process did not restore the deleted folder. Checking the saved bookmarks.html for the missing folder showed there were seven instances of the folder along with their bookmark entries. Should there only be one instance of the folder and its' bookmarks? I verified this by checking other browser window bookmark folders and each showed seven instances in the bookmarks.html along with their bookmark entries.

The reason for totally removing v37.0.2… sometime after v35.0 a window resizing problem appeared. The popup windows for bookmark folder Properties and bookmark Properties could not be resized. When you cursor over the sides or corners, the adjustment arrows do not appear. The popup window is two monitor lengths in width and a little awkward in getting it to be saved so the left hand side is visible. Carriage return will extend height and can be saved.

If I remove Firefox from my computers' registry and re-establish v39.0, will I be able to replace my bookmarks. Maybe not. I would have to replace them manually from the bookmarks.html and that would take time to do.

Any solutions? Was this a bug or is it relevant to be still using WinXP PRO SP3?

On my new windows install I found Firefox to be very slow compared to how it was before the my new Windows install. Opening most webpages takes way longer than it should, i excluded my internet connection being the problem as i always get 100/100 Mbps (speedtest) results.

I already : -reinstalled Flashplayer, wich didnt solve the problem. -Did a Firefox refresh (as in: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-health-report-says-your-browser-is-slow ) -Tried setting the ipv6 boolean (network.dns.disableIPv6) in about:config to true. -Disabling plugins (user installed ones) -Clearing flashplayer cache -Reinstall videocard driver

I'm at a loss what could possibly be the problem, hopefully someone else has an idea how to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance

That's just great, Mozilla! Put the onus on some poor unsuspecting volunteers to try and help us poor suckers for trying your lousy Firefox Browser. That way you don't have to see what many, many people are saying about their disillusionment with your browser. As soon as Firefox V.43 automatically installed itself on my computer, it crashed when I opened it up. I filled in the crash report dialog box and clicked on submit to send it to you, but it would not go out. Instead, I got another error message saying that there was a problem with my crash report and it couldn't go out. Well, WHOOP-DEE-DOO !!!, Mozilla; Firefox has crashed, so nothing is coming in or going out on Firefox. Brilliant, absolutely f...ing brilliant !!!

I've uninstalled Firefox v.43 (several times) but still end up with the same crash problem when I re-install it.

I'm able to write this message only because I took my computer to the repair nerd who again uninstalled v.43 but then installed v.37. This works (partly) but still has other problems that are Firefox related (not caused by other programs as you suggest). A very important question I've had for a log time is: "Why in the bloody hell is there a new upgrade of Firefox almost every month?" You're as bad as Microsoft, coming out with upgraded versions of Windows before fixing even half of the bugs in the current version. Have you ever heard the expression: "DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME" ?

Firefox has been solid for a long time. Recently, it has started crashing while I'm off doing something else and a browser window is open. I can't recall it crashing while I'm active within FF. I'll be checking email or even just leaving the system idle, and suddenly the crash box pops up. I can upload recent crash reports (that are sent to Mozilla) but I'm not sure how to do that.
