At times I have difficulty in getting the cursor on the pinned tabs. I don't have problems seeing so don't need to zoom in to make everything larger, I just need wider pinned tabs.
I use FF 63.0.1 on my Win10 laptop and need to make the pinned tabs wider for ease of use.
I found information about making unpinned tabs wider in about:config but can't find anything for the pinned tabs.

Currently the only way to add description is press <Ctrl+Shift+o> to "Show all bookmarks".
But i want to add description right in the time when bookmark by clicking the star, without extra step to "Show all bookmarks", locate the bookmark, click down arrow button to see the description text box.
Attached is the screenshot of bookmark star dialog, no such "Add description" button feature yet.
My Firefox version is 46.0.1 in gnome.

Make sure dom.w3c_touch_events.enabled is either set to 1 (enabled) or 2 (default, auto-detect).
Add MOZ_USE_XINPUT2 DEFAULT=1 to /etc/security/pam_env.conf and then logout or reboot your system for the changes to take effect.

1-FireFox is full of ads and Firefox ad blocker is weak it doesn't even block most ads! when I click on something a new tap get opened and I find a page or a website or something I have no relation with it! For example I am in a modding website and I click on search button then a new tap comes and I find another website or page about how to be rich and that is not what I want!. By the way a lot of people prefer Google Chrome browser because it has no ads however I prefer Firefox browser please remove the ads from firefox, Make firefox browser clean of ads.
2-Where is the register button?! I took maybe 15 minutes to find a solution to register in this website then I knew that the only way to register is by volunteering but I don't want to volunteer I just want to register to ask a question! I am sure that I am not the only one who is talking about that there is no register button, Please put a register button so people can register quickly.
3-I have an old account and I forgot its password so I wrote my email to receive a password reset link and I waited maybe 2 minutes or 1 minute and I didn't receive the link so I tried again by writing my email and again I didn't receive the link!

The tab dropdown menu normally has a bar down the side which shows which tabs are onscreen at the moment. With the latest update this has disappeared, to be replaced by a single bar marking the currently open tab.
It seems silly, but that bar made it easier to control and limit my number of open tabs (which is quite anxiety-inducing, at least for me).
Is there a skin to restore the old appearance, or (even better) an option to restore the setting?

i want traditional, nonflat, multicolored icons so that they match the rest of the icons on my computer
i dont want my computer icons to look like a phone or worse yet like windows 10.....yeesh im willing to go through any kind of graphic filetype conversion for icons or any advanced configuring, or even making my own in photoshop, i just dont know how to go about putting said graphics into firefox

Was using Lubuntu for years on old hardware, then OS got corrupted. Chgd Distro to "AntiX" which worked for a few weeks, then FF quit loading Tags (blue dot just goes back & forth but no load). Bought a new computer meantime but would like to keep old stuff running and most of all clean out the anti-captialist propaganda garbage than landed in my FF synch account, including loops. An add-in that kills loops and moves all bookmarks to the bookmarks bar would be helpful. Presumably it was 'AntiX' that put the propaganda in my FF bookmarks, but bookmarks, if a directed graph, seems susceptible to loops and should have defenses against loops so once garbage like Anti-X's gets in, it can be cleaned out. Cryptically, my FF account asked me today to verify my home country (!) -- which I did (USA). Help appreciated, but if too much trouble would like Synch account destroyed so I can start a new one with same email. Also years and years and years ago I had an early Synch account with the same email address, so if it's calusing trouble, it can all be wiped out. Having to write this from some other browser on a new computer. Thanks!

i'd like to be able to set bookmarks folders in newtab thumbnails, maybe by expanding content above first thumbnails (with a <- back button). that'd allow more organization/efficiency to my browsing.

I've found that my numerous add-ons were causing Firefox 61.0.1 Stable to constantly freeze and crash on my Inspiron 7558. For now, I always start Firefox in Safe Mode so all the add-ons and themes are disabled for a seamless and reliable Firefox experience on it. It's an inconvenience that I have to tell Firefox to start in Safe Mode once all the add-ons are trying to load. I can disable the add-ons one at a time, but I don't want to. Instead, I'll keep using Firefox in Safe Mode until at least December 11, 2018, when Firefox 64.0 comes.

I think it would be a good idea to put another option under "Default Search Engine Choose the default search engine to use in the address bar and search bar" to have the option of making the default search engine for the search bar different from the default search engine for the address bar. As of right now you have two search bars that use the same search engine by default and waiting for the drop down to appear to change the search engine for the search bar is a pain in the ass.

Most users have a hard enough time tracking where a download was saved, let alone not knowing that a download even occurred to go looking for a file.
feature request - clear cache for a single page

Hi, A few hours ago I cleared the last hour of recent history, FYI I checked browsing & download history, form & search history and cache when doing it but after that I realised all my closed windows and tabs were lost except the ones being opened.
In the session backup folder there is only 2 files, recovery.baklz4 and recovery.jsonlz4. Actually I just checked, there is 3 now, previous.jsonlz4, but they're all pretty much the same, after I lost those windows and tabs, and the former two seem to be constantly saving themselves, not sure why, is this supposed to be happening?
Usually there were upgrade backup files such as [upgrade.jsonlz4-date] but I don't have them in [sessionstore-backups], has something changed or is there something wrong with my browser?
When I realised my closed windows were gone I immediately made a backup but it was too late, they were all after I've lost the closed tabs and windows, and there were only two files (the files constantly saving I mentioned earlier).
So how should I proceed? I want to get my session restored but the last usable session backup I've made was months ago.

Some of the things I miss which I would like to see added to FF: Although there is now an "Open in new tab" option it is still a bit short of offerings.
1 - "Open in new tab and switch" 2 - Add names to tabs. Sometimes it would be nice to search for a tab with a more appropriate name. 3 - (Though maybe asking a bit too much) Coloured tabs. Un-loaded, Loaded but not active, *THIS* tab. Though *THIS* tab is sort of easy to see, when I am researching something and have a lot of tabs open seeing "where" (which) tab is the active one is handy. Explination of the three colours: -- Un-loaded - (When loading a previous session) This tab is not yet loaded. -- Loaded but not active - You have been to this page this time, but it is not the active tab. -- *THIS* - well, just so it is easy to separate from the other loaded tabs.

For e.g. you can search something and suddenly it can suggest you a site from personal or something else nsw etc. Also the new tab highlights are combined with personal and work and the others. But if the containers converted to multi-profiles we could also use seperate browsing, customizing, etc. Unfortunately for this reason I have to use two Firefox Account. :/ and also unfortunately I can't use Firefox Lockwise, because my passwords seperated two Firefox accounts and I can only set one Firefox Account on my mobile phone. :/
If multi-profiles can set and switch easily on one Firefox Account, that would be awesome! Thanks in advance.
