Hello Everyone!
When I go onto Facebook, numerous things do not function when I use Firefox browser, this does not happen with the Chrome browser, so I assume it must be a browser problem. Problems mainly arise in
(1) the loading of the page (slow), (2) the stylesheet is not read properly and the page that can be seen is solely HTML5. (3) Almost always pictures do not load, meaning that posts will be shown with a blank square where the picture is supposed to be. (4) I get strange pop-ups implying that I have tried to download something (php file) which I did not, usually it is a file with a strange name.
See the screenshot for problems 2 and 4.
The first, is of Facebook acting weird the second, is of a pop-up where it is asked whether I would like to download a php-file that I did not request. Now to my very limited understanding of web development it is perfectly normal for a browser to request certain files (that is how we use the web) however it is not normal for me to get a pop-up to download the file to my laptop unless I specifically request that. In addition, there is no reason why Firefox would need me to permanently store a php file from Facebook onto my laptop (as far as I know...)
This happens randomly and I cannot replicate it.
Hopefully someone will be able to help with this?
Sincerely,
Laura
