We have 2 desktop computers, both on the same wifi internet wireless network. On 1 we can ad the Ublock Origin extension no problem. But except for only 2 times, the other computer says installation aborted because add-on appears to be corrupt. Like I said, we have gotten it to load twice but both times it disappeared and now it won’t load. I’m not sure how it can be a connectivity issue, since they both access the internet from the same source. Is it that the problem system has Window 11 and the other 10? Why would it install twice and then disappear? Note that as a test I have uninstalled Ublock and then reinstalled it no problem on the Windows 10 machine. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I uninstalled Firefox which I had been using for years because when I tried to open it yesterday it said the file was corrupted and unreadable. I installed Firefox today but it didn"t import my bookmarks from the previous version of Firefox. I have windows 10

Lately, whenever I click on a file (be it PDF, XLS or whatever), it doesn't open. Instead, I see the relevant app (Acrobat, Excel, or whatever) flashing on the taskbar and I have to click on it to view the downloaded files. Not a big deal, but it used to be different, with the relevant app opening a window with the downloaded files (which makes sense: if I click on it to open - and not download - I want to see it now). Does this happen to you as well? I could not find any option to control this behaviour, and I don't think it is intentional.

Unable to install Firefox on WIN11. Wants to create a profile but get "An unexpected error has prevented your changes from being saved. (This is a new Desktop unit I received today and have not had any problems with WIN10.

I found Agent_10_9_9 on my C:\ drive. I don't know what this is. I don't remember ever installing it. Evidently, it was installed Dec 2019 or Jan 15,2020. Thank you! Margaret mbbristol57@yahoo.com

I currently have a Windows 7 PC with Firefox version 112.0.2 and normally use the EXE files from Mozilla's FTP site (ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases) to upgrade Firefox.

With Mozilla's decision to move Windows 7 users on to the ESR branch of Firefox I was looking for the best way to install the ESR version using EXE/MSI files. In this regard I have the following questions:

1) Is it best to first install the standard Firefox 115.0.3 EXE (last standard Firefox for Windows 7 users) and then the 115.1.0 EXE (first Windows 7 ESR Firefox)?

2) Would doing the above method cause any conflictions?

3) I read a while ago that the ESR version is a separate install that can run in parallel to the standard version, if this is true would it be ok to uninstall the standard version after the ESR install to not leave vulnerable versions on the system?

4) As the latest ESR version is 115.5.0, if the above method is ok. After installing the standard 115.0.3 should I still install 115.1.0 ESR or move straight to 115.5.0 ESR?

5) When moved onto the ESR branch can you jump versions or do the updates have to be installed in order?

When I went to open the vpn file, I got a message saying that it may contain malicious code that may harm my pc? Therefore Ive purchased the monthly payment but as of yet been unwilling to open the file. Also I got vpn in order to watch peacock T.V. as well as NBC and MSNBC Ive no idea how to access these programs in the U.S. as Im in Canada?

I have recently had to reload my laptop. Before I did so I synced all my passwords, bookmarks, history etc. When I have reloaded Firefox onto my device all my data is missing. Please can you help as I need all my passwords and bookmarks for work.

Since the latest Firefox update a few days ago, I am not able to log into my Outlook/Webmail account; nothing happens.

I can access it on google chrome but not on Firefox.

Dear Mozilla Team, I hope you're doing well. I have a question because I am not sure about things how works when someone changes a device. 3 days ago I changed my Mac device to a new one and however I logged in with my profile my Mozilla Firefox looks completely different and I would like to know which version I used let's say a week ago and what is the version now, is there a way to figure out this? Honestly, I don't like this version and I would like to get back the old one or the old customization. Can you check this for me please? Thank you, Richard.
