I can't download anything anymore. I get the "failed" message. I see in support questons that this has been going on for a long time even though there have been repeated "fixes" reported. I've used Firefox for a long time and really prefer it, but I'm having to change to Chrome to be able to complete my work.

I have a problem retrieving my favorites/bookmarks. I changed computers (all of them, even the hard drives).

I would like to recover my favorites/bookmarks but cannot do so because I am asked to look for them in folders that I no longer have, because they are on the old computer.

Does Firefox not save any information about my favorites/bookmarks? Have I lost them all? Do I have to redo my whole life?

I am about to stop using Firefox, because recently, every time it wants to update, it goes right ahead without my say so, and completely voids my entire history. Everything is gone. I have to find all my tabs again, and sign into them all again. Dreadful. I was a faithful user of this web platform, bit this is so inconveniently useless, I cannot continue.

Firefox no longer allows me to post a message on Youtube, I can click someone else's message and reply to them I just can not post a new message. I can however post a message while using Chrome.

Hi, I have a problem as my Facebook keeps freezing on Mozilla when I try to add emojis to a post, I have tried all the recommended actions but the issue still persists but it works normaly on MS Edge when I perform the same actions. Help !

At first Firefox opened and then immediately closed. Then it simply wouldn't open. I uninstalled it. Changed my profile (as per a suggestion in Support I read about). Reinstalled it. It opens now in "safe/troubleshoot" mode for a few moments. I checked the crash report and there are no current crash reports which might help me with the problem. I can't log back in as it keeps closing after I enter username and try to enter password - i don't think its a password issue - it closes all the time even at other places. I'm at my wits end and don't want to abandon Firefox. Any thoughts appreciated. Many thanks, A

When attempting to update my Mozilla account from my Firefox settings, I was unable to add my secondary email address because of an error message stating that the secondary email account exists...

Repeating this action in case of a bug resulted in being locked out of that particular window.

I have no idea what that error message means, nor how to circumnavigate it. Please help!

I switched from Chrome to Firefox a couple weeks ago. Everything seemed to go fine at first but now my laptop is not syncing bookmarks with my Android phone or desktop PC. My about:sync-log is filled with errors every few minutes. When browsing through them, I see a common reference saying the master password is locked and it can't sync but the primary password option is unchecked in my settings. Interestingly, nothing happens when I click sign out under my profile and I have to go to the Mozilla manage account screen and sign out from there. Sometimes when I do that and log back in, bookmarks will sync once and then error out again. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.

I used Firefox Sync when I bought my new computer and it worked perfectly. This time, I had to reset my computer and forgot my password. Using my account associated email, I reset my password and my information was gone.

is het mogelijk dat het opslaan van documenten via firefox automatische voorzien worden van een firefox extension? Kan het zo zijn dat als je firefox verwijdert deze documenten dan niet meer toegangelijk zijn?

Als dat zo is hoe kan ik dit dan weer herstellen?

I have recently had to reload my laptop. Before I did so I synced all my passwords, bookmarks, history etc. When I have reloaded Firefox onto my device all my data is missing. Please can you help as I need all my passwords and bookmarks for work.

Firefox crashes when I click on a box in MS Excel (and possibly other MS programs) then move to the browser to paste or not paste. This has been a problem for months now and I've reported this months ago (Oct. 3rd). Does anyone have a fix to this? I've refreshed it and it has been updated (and windows is always up to date too).

Firefox hangs when I try to maximise the window. If the firefox window is covering half of my screen and I try to maximise by clicking on the window button at the top right, it hangs. I get a message "firefox is not responding, wait or exit." Then I have to select close, and start it again to work. This happens occasionally, once in every 2-3 days.

Hello, I always use Firefox logged into my Mozilla account.

Yesterday I went to a (legitimate) site, that I had never visited before and only read one page. I didn't click on anything on that site/page, I only read that one page and left the site. Not long afterwards, I received a promotional email from that site stating "Thanks for stopping by!".

My question is: how did they know my email (the email used by my Mozilla account)? I have never received emails from that site, and as I said, I never visited it until then.

Does Firefox expose the Mozilla account email when visiting sites? This is pretty troubling. I would appreciate any input you have. Thanks
