Firefox seems to be randomly crashing with no regard to what page I view. It can be anything from a Google results page to a page with multimedia playing. Every time, I get the same crash report, but I don't know how to fix the problem. To my knowledge, I have removed all unnecessary plug-ins and add-ons.

Firefox has also been running unusually slow and often freezes on web pages for several minutes. I have FF set to clear all my browsing data when I close it.

My firefox is stuck in the safe mode and i am unable to return to the regular mode. I have tried restarting as suggested but it is still in safe mode. How can i return to the regular mode?

When I try to access a known good good (non-phishing) web site I get a message that opendns is blocking the site because it is a phishing site. I am using FF3.05 under Slamd64 Linux. How do I stop this @#%#!#$^$%@ behavior of FF?

HELP! Can I retrieve my previous session? I only just ticked the "open with previous session" preference but it seems too late! Can I still get the old pages/tabs I had open?

Regardless of which version of FF I have installed (I have tested many) you folks keep opening 4 extra ports going around my firewall and around my proxy. This is a serious security and privacy breach.

Also, even though I have all sharing and updates turned off (so as to not destroy my machine) you have updated some dlls without my permission.

Open source is supposed to be more trustworthy. We would have expected something like this from MS but not you.

For some reason, firefox has started displaying RAW HTML when I navigate to a web site instead of rendering it. IE and Chrome are both rendering normally. What would cause this to start happening? Sometimes, pressing F5 fixes the problem, sometimes not. Sometimes I'll go to the same page the next day and everything is OK.

I know that onbeforeunload can be used for it. But onbeforeunload gets called when page is refreshed or navigated. I have to call a function only and only when firefox is closed using close button given at the top.

clientX , clientY not working in firefox.

I can sort A-Z in "Organize Bookmarks" window, but the next time I look for a book mark, the sequence seems to revert to random. I want to make the A-Z sort the default for every time I look for a bookmark. Thanks.

I can't get firefox to run on any machines. My colleagues can.

I can't find any trace of Firefox running and it still complains that there is an existing firefox process running.

After I log in to certain sites that I use daily, Firefox will not go to the post-log-in page until I unblock the transition. For other sites, it ignores my repeated attempts to unblock the transition, forcing me to use another browser for those sites.

For the first type of site, I would like a way of telling Firefox to never again waste my time by forcing me to manually unblock the transition.

For the second type of site, I would like to get Firefox to stop ignoring my attempts to allow the transition.

When I need to back on previous page, I have to press ALT+LeftArrow. Sorry, but it does not suit to me. I want to change that or to add some other shortcut, but.... or I did not find a right way.

I am secretary of a semi formal group and need to send e-mails to all members every month - minutes of previous meetings, notices of up-coming meetings etc. I want to be able to click on a "group" and send the e-mail to them all without selecting each individual from my long list of contacts - and then accidentally missing one or two as happened recently. How can I organise my contacts into "groups" with some contacts in more than one "group" to make this work easier and more accurate?

I tried to open 25 tabs in one window using firefox 3.0.5 with windows xp. It would only let me open 10. Tabs I added after 10 were added, but tabs at the begining were erased. What do I have to do to open all the tabs that I may need without changing the firefox or windows version? Do I need to open a new browser window for every 10 tabs?
