Hi All,

I have a number of computers that I would like to have configured identically, including Firefox's extensions. Is there a mechanism that I could use to automatically install a list of extensions on my (linux, windows) computers?

When i create an account in blue named AK-M AK-M will not appear on the screen- There i find instead "Neuer Tab" ... How to solve this Problem? Thanks for any hints. Josef Schwendt

I would like to start by expressing my deep appreciation for the Firefox browser. I truly admire the values Mozilla stands for, especially regarding user privacy and open-source development. Firefox is fast, secure, and beautifully designed — and I would love to use it as my primary browser.

However, there is one major challenge that prevents me from doing so: extension compatibility. Many of the tools and extensions I rely on for my daily work are either not available on Firefox or do not function as they do on Google Chrome.

I understand that Firefox has its own extension ecosystem and architecture, but I sincerely hope that your team could explore a way to bring full compatibility or at least broader support for Chrome extensions. This feature alone would make Firefox the perfect browser for users like me who value both productivity and privacy.

Thank you for all the hard work and innovation you bring to the web. I look forward to seeing how Firefox continues to evolve.

SEVERAL SITES THAT I USE ARE NOT LOADING CORRECTLY WITH MY CURRENT AD BLOCKER. WHEN I DISABLE THE AD BLOCKER THE SITES LOAD NORMALLY. I AM NOW USING A DIFFERENT BROWSER UNTIL A SOLUTION IS FOUND.

I've installed a download extension to Firefox on my Android phone and now wonder how to use it to download embedded videos in a webpage?

I've used a similar extension in Firefox on my Mac for years, and that is very easy to use, but using it on Android has eluded me as I can't find any access to it when I'm onthe page i want to download from. Can anyone provide advice please?

My mail checker extension isn't working right in Firefox. Extension Link I was able to find an error using Developer Options but I don't know if the error is even related to the extension or if it is even useful. If anyone would help me, I would be very grateful.

The following extensions do not have shortcuts:

   IDM Integration Module
   Kaspersky Password Manager
   Kaspersky Protection
   Malwarebytes Browser Guard
   Privacy Badger
   Return YouTube Dislike
   Weather
   WOT Website Security & Privacy Protection

WHY?

Tried to ad URL and I get a response sayin, “Need to have ad on’s” How to do so? Seems like a lot of hoops to jump through just to get started. Please advise. Thank you! Loren Fennell

My 3 important extentions have not been launching propoerly lately. I mean:

Super Dark Mode AdBlocker Ultimate Anti-tracker Bitdefender

Theu work OK but they do not launch on starting up the browser. Although they have Enabled status theoreticaly, I have to disable and enable them manuly to make them start working each tim I launch the browser. It is a real nuisence. I did not have such a problem before.

I am trying to develop a script to control extension management for Firefox on windows. I tried to create policies.json in C:\program files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution {

 "policies": {
   "Extensions": {
     "Uninstall": ["{63d150c4-394c-4275-bc32-c464e76a891c}","{63d150c4-394c-4275-bc32-c464e76a891c}"]
   }
 }

} This neither gets reflected in about:policies page, nor I see these extensions getting uninstalled/prevented from getting installed again.

I also tried to add extension to registry Software\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions\Uninstall\1={63d150c4-394c-4275-bc32-c464e76a891c}, but don't see any impact.

Can someone please give any pointer for above approach not working.
