Just updated my firefox browser and now my mouse won't let me click links if they are on a small part of the screen. If I move to a new window then move that window out of that part of the screen, I can click fine. I've tried disabling all add-ons to fix. Nothing works.

I believe this issue began back when version 40 was released and I am just tired of it not working. The problem is that auto-fill in the url bar does not work, but auto complete does. Before I was able to start typing an address and it would auto fill the address bar as I type. Example would be that I type "re" and it would auto fill "reddit.com" and I would just need to press enter. I can still accomplish the same thing, but I need to press down or click from the populated list that shows below the address bar.

From all my searching, the solution is supposed to be to make sure that browser.url.autoFill is set True in about:config. This is set. I have tried changing it, changing it back, reinstalling, fresh install, non-beta install, disabling all addons, but nothing has worked. I still have this functionality in IE, Edge, and Chrome. What should I do and has anyone else had this problem?

On text only pages, Firefox displays text Left-to-Right (LTR) by default, even for plain text in which the language is read Right-to-Left (RTL). Firefox should either,

1) display content LTR or RTL on the basis of script (e.g., UTF-8 Hebrew text should be aligned RIGHT) 2) provide a user option to toggle which way all the text should be aligned on text only pages (perhaps, via the context menu)

Thank you

Printing from the new default print preview button causes option to print selection to be greyed out.

This issue seems to have persisted for a number of years and still isn't fixed?

What workaround is available for elderly relatives who are not familiar with keyboard shortcuts?

Is there any way to add the standard print dialogue to a toolbar button?

Even with an addon or bookmarklet or something at the very least?

Hi There,

I have a problem relating to home page in Firefox browser. When i open the browser i see the following web page opening though i set my preferred webpage to open.

web site --> http://www.timesindia.xyz/?dt=07052016&aid=55115&uid=fe5f22ed-...

No unwanted extensions or add on(s) found in the settings. Also tried changing the settings of "browser.newtab.url" in "about:config" to preferred. But still problem persists.

Right after I invoke AOL mail in Firefox on a mac, I get the error message "The calendar service is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience." The message comes up in its own little window with an "OK" button. When I click "OK," the window goes away and AOL mail functions normally. This behavior started a few weeks ago. I don't know why. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

I have seen from time to time applications advertised that tell me they can 'remove deleted items from your computer'. Now my understanding is that a deleted item, once cleared in the Recycle Bin, has been removed. Going to machine code level, I read 'deleted' as meaning the 0 and 1 binaries that are put into sequences of 0 and 1 to make up the bits and bytes, which in turn are configured to create text, control characters, pixels, pictures, etc., in a file, are all set to zero. Setting the binaries to zero would regain the space previously occupied by the deleted items for future use. If that is not the case, then do the 'deleted' files still exist, sitting buried somewhere in my computer, like corpses interred in the earth ?

Hi, I really wish the developer's of the firefox browser would consider implementing a change to how the saved bookmark's act. The way it is currently is rather nerve racking, when using internet explorer 'remembers' the last opened bookmark which at least to me is a nice feature. With firefox when you click on the 'show your bookmarks' button, you have to start from the beginning every time, which is at least to me rather 'old fashioned' . Hopefully other user's of firefox feel like I do. David

How do I hide the folders "Bookmarks Toolbar", "Bookmarks Menu" and "Other Bookmarks" in the bookmark sidebar?

In FF <48 I could just use the addon "Sidebar Bookmark Selector", but now (FF48) it is broken (sidebar is completely white, if one or more folders are hidden).

Is there some userChrome.css code to fix this quickly? :)

My reason is that I only use the "Bookmarks Menu" folder from the sidebar, so the three entries take space away vertically and even horizontally (because of the small folder arrows left of the folder name).

I've sent this to Speedbit. I've used Download Accelerator Plus for years with IE, Chrome, & Firefox. It no longer works with Firefox. Others have discussed this problem, Mozilla has done nothing. The xpinstall.signatures.required set to false has worked, but left Firefox vulnerable to unsigned add-ons. It no longer works. I'll be looking for another accelerator if no-one here has another work-around.

I've updated to the latest version of Firefox, and other forums say Firefox has addressed the WidevineCdm issue. But I still get an error message when I try to watch shows on Starz. The message is: Unfortunately, STARZ can't play on this device without a current version of the WidevineCdm component. Please verify that you're running Firefox version 47 or greater and the WidevineCdm component is enabled. I am just a mom with no computer knowledge, but surely this shouldn't require tech support.  ??
