Greetings, One of the arguably most useful gestures for laptop users is still missing/broken on Firefox on windows. It's the two-finger swipe that allows to navigate forward or backward in history by swiping left or right.

This feature is present in Chrome and even Edge since many months, yet it has never worked on Firefox, on any of my windows devices.

I've been using Firefox Dev since 12+ months, keeping both it and windows 10 always up to date, the gestures never worked (yet they are activated in the about:config page, see attached images).

What's most disappointing is that the gestures work without any issue on the MacOS version of Firefox.

some useful info: Firefox version: 94.0b3 (latest as of today) Windows version: 21H1 build 19043.1266 (latest as of today)

If someone manages to get the two-finger swipe gesture to work on windows please let me know.

I hope this can get fixed soon, especially because the feature seems to be already built into Firefox, it just doesn't work in the windows release. In the meanwhile I'm switching to chrome

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at www.google.com.

If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

   Try again later.
   Check your network connection.
If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.

Under normal circumstances Firefox appears to load web pages fine. As soon as I turn on Mozilla VPN and try to reload a browser tab I already have open, it behaves as though I am not connected to the internet. Other browsers do not experience this issue. Even after disconnecting from the VPN, Firefox only regains the ability to load web pages after restarting it.

I have tried using a private window with no add ons and there was no change. I have also tried refreshing Firefox. That does initially fix the issue but as soon as I close Firefox after refreshing, the issue returns. I would prefer if I didn't need to refresh Firefox every time I want to use Mozilla's VPN.

Hi i wanted to write this cause when ever i go watch a stream on twitch there's stutter and lag 24/7 on the stream and this happens only on Mozilla Firefox since 1 2 months . My connection is really fast and i tried clearing cache data history , or disabling hardware acceleration but nothing . To check if the browser or my pc/net was the problem i went on Edge and Google chrome and i kept both mozilla and the other browser open on the same twitch channel and only the Mozilla one was permanently stuttering and slow buffering . Is this issue fixable cause if its not i'm prob gonna swap back to Chrome .

Since the update to version 93, I have noticed a couple of issues. At times a tab may freeze, other times the entire thing will freeze. The other issue I seen is occasionally the screen will flash white and the return back to normal. This happens with no particular pattern and I usually have 4-5 tabs open at a time

Has anyone had these issues and any suggestions appreciated ? Thanks

After the latest boot-up on my Manjaro desktop, Firefox is compeletely mute. All other applications are producing sound as normal, it's just Firefox that's gone silent. Checked the mute settings on the individual tabs, Checked the speakers, checked the linux system settings, checked ever volume control I can find, still no sound. I'm stumped. As far as I can tell, there's nothing telling Firefox to keep quiet, it just is for some inexplicable reason.

When going to Realtor.com to view properties and clicking on the map button to see where it is and then using the back button instead of going back to where I was it always goes back to the top of the page and then I have to scroll and find the property I was looking at to then view another one that I like. This happens every time. I have already turned off my add-ons, extensions and changed all my settings to default and nothing is working. If I use Microsoft Edge which I hate there are no issues so the problem has to be a setting in Firefox that is wrong.

I'm no longer able to play any kind of video in Firefox. Regardless of source - Netflix, Youtube, clips on twitter, whatever - I just get the loading circle.

All videos I've tried have been totally fine in Chrome and Edge, so it's not the source or the internet correction.

I've tried: - Running Firefox in safe mode (without extensions) - Clearing browser cache - Refreshing Firefox - Reinstalling Firefox - Disabling hardware acceleration

Any further suggestions? Firefox 93.0 on Windows 10 Enterprise, for the record.

Hi, my problem is straightforward, after it syncs my data videos stop working. What I tried at first when the problem appeared was clearing cookies, disabling add-ons, then creating a new profile, but I realized the problem only appeared after logging in, so I'm thinking maybe my synced data got corrupted somehow?

If so, what steps can I follow to tackle this problem?

Since Mozilla Firefox release 93.0 I can't watch any videos online. I have to uninstall and install 92.0 version to resolve the problem. I tried all the solutions I read online to fix the problem for the 93.0 version, but none of them works, the best solution for me is to downgrade to a lower version. What I can do to fix this problem permanently?

This problem started with an update a couple months ago. Each bar is about 4 pixels wide and appears only on the right, left, and bottom edges of the browser window. They persist when the window is full size or smaller, but disappear on f11. The bars are completely unresponsive. Clicking or resizing the window doesn't seem to work inside of them. Even though the top of the window has no visible bar, there is still an unresponsive region like the other three sides and approximately 4 pixels of empty space.

When it comes to color, the bars spend about 50 percent of the time as white and 50 percent as the same gray that Firefox's dark mode uses. I wasn't able to get a screenshot when the bars were gray, but I was able to screenshot the top right and left corners when the bars were white, which I have attached.

It appears as if there are buttons of some sort poking out on the top right and left corners. If I had to guess, the top right icon looks like the "x" button on a Windows 7 window, and the top left icon looks like the red dot in the uppermost corner of a macOS window. My machine has only ever run Windows 10, and Firefox is the only application that this problem occurs in.

Restarting, using troubleshooting mode, manually removing extensions and themes, messing around with compatibility settings, running as administrator, refreshing Firefox, and reinstalling Firefox have all been unsuccessful. It really is annoying to live with this bug.

I now have Firefox browser & use Yahoo for Email but Yahoo won't let me attach a 76Mb (37 second) video, their attachment limit is 25Mb which is about a 12 second video, there must be a way in 2021 to attach a 37 second video to a Yahoo Email without using Cloud, does anyone out there have advice or a hack that can help me attach a 37 second 76Mb video to a Yahoo video, it's evidence in a Strata Breach case so I need to send the 37 second video intact, would appreciate any helpful replies (oh & FYI, anyone who wasn't previously aware - allegedly, you don't own all your private photos & videos stored on your device, apparently Cloud says it owns all your personal stuff......

Hello, I'm using Ubuntu 20.04, and the newest Firefox (i.e. 93.0). For a long time already I have very irritating issue: I have 2 profiles: Company (default) and Personal (secondary). Company profile is marked as default. Personal profile I'm using for my personal email account, youtube, facebook etc. The issue is that whenever I have opened 2 FF instances, with those 2 separate profiles, I never know in which instance of FF the link will open. It's soooooo frustrating. Mainly I'm opening links from company Slack or email, and I never know in which Firefox link will open. Is there any option to set it? I would except that all links will open in the default profile ("Company"). Br, Marek
