Hello,

this css style, which works fine with IE, does not display a colored scrollbar in Firefox:

BODY {

  scrollbar-base-color:#F06F6F;
  scrollbar-track-color:#D04F4F;
  scrollbar-face-color:#C03F3F;
  scrollbar-highlight-color:#C03F3F;
  scrollbar-3d-light-color:#C03F3F;
  scrollbar-dark-shadow-color:#C03F3F;
  scrollbar-shadow-color:#C03F3F;
  scrollbar-arrow-color:#E06F6F;

}

Are colored scrollbars not supported with Firefox, or do I have to change something within the code (it should also work with IE afterwards).

Thank you, newnexo

I downloaded some extensions that you have to open to use. The problem is that I can't figure out how to open them. They are not on/can't be put on the toolbar, are not in the "tools" tab, the only way I even know they are on my computer is by going to Tools > Addons > Extensions, and I can't even open them from there.

This happened

Not sure how often

When I type in a website that does not exist, I am redirected to an Ad from "sendoriads.searchassist.com powered by Yahoo". This is not the case with IE? When I search for a solution to block this on my Firefox it says to go to Tools and Options to block automatic redirects. But, that option is not there?

I created a self-signed trusted root authority certificate using Microsoft's makecert utility - this is for a test environment... I imported it into the IE environment using Microsoft's MMC utility and it works fine. Using IE I can browse to our test server using https with no problem.

When I export that certificate out of the IE environment (using MMC) in a base64 format (DER also) and try to import it into Firefox I get an error, "This is not a certificate authority certificate, so it can't be imported into the certificate authority list." How can I get firefox to trust a test CA certificate?

When I go to certain websites such as Huffington Post or even Facebook typing in them is very slow or delayed. The text I am typing does not appear as I'm typing it on a realtime basis. The text I'm typing now is fine and it's not my keyboard as typing text in Word causes no such problems. Is there something about the code used for text/comment boxes that could cause this?

I have an environment where I open a number of windows for my application to specific locations on the desktop. The "help" features will open a Firefox browser instance with an appropriate local url. What I would like to do is specify the same initial starting location and size for the browser window upon startup.

Is this possible through a configuration or command line option? Is it possible to "lock" the position information that is saved on browser exit? I have tried the starting the browser specifying "-height nnn -width nnn" on the command line but this does not seem to do anything.

Thanks!

I like the new "wallpaper" just downloaded from Firefox that's at the top 3 inches of the screen. However, the address bar goes virtually across the entire screen, covering up her face. Clicking on the "View" button over the address bar, then Toolbars, then Customize, I've been able to move stuff around that was covering the area of her face. How can I shorten the address bar 3, 4 inches so I can enjoy all of the image? Thank you. Bruce
