After upgrading firefox to the latest version 94.0, it became impossible to copy entrys directly from keepass to firefox. Now to copy entrys, you first need to copy it from keepass to notepad, and then from notepad to firefox. What is the reason for this?

My system is mint 19 and keepass version 2.45

When entering credit card info in a web form, Firefox will pop up a dialog asking if I'd like to save the card info. If I click yes, the dialog closes but the info is not saved. If I go into settings where one can view the saved cards and enter the info to save a new one, I can enter one but again it does not actually save. There is no error, it just doesn't save. Tailing journalctl shows no errors, and launching Firefox from a console and watching the output doesn't show any error either.

It's been this way over several updates over the course of a few months (as long as I've been using Firefox on this computer).

I know that cookies are stored in a SQLITE database. I use a Linux distro and as per the documentation I viewed the cookie file at location '~/.mozilla/firefox/PROFILE_FOLDER/cookies.sqlite' and I can view all the contents as expected.'

However, these two things are bugging me if someone can please help me:

(i) SQLITE isn't a server connected database (it just offers minimal functionality) and since cookies are something accessed by server side from http headers with every request how does that work out?

(ii) Session storage key value pairs are stored in '~/.mozilla/firefox/PROFILE_FOLDER/webappsstore.sqlite' however, when I create session storage key value pairs and without closing the tab if I try viewing the session key; I can't find the key value pairs. I tried with Local storage and it works however with session storage it does not show me the key value pair in database.

Hello, I'm behind a corporate proxy server and I had no issues with this until a couple of months ago. First I was using FoxyProxy, and one day I realized that Firefox wasn't syncing so I started troubleshooting (Troubleshoot mode) and found out that when a proxy addon (now I moved to SmartProxy and it's the same) is enabled Sync fails. I even tried setting up a new profile with a different, new, Firefox Sync account and the outcome is the same. Anyone else having this trouble? Is this a bug? Should I report it? Anyone wants to help me reproduce it? Thanks in advance!

PS: This happens on my Windows 10 machine too.

Hi, Presently users login through Vmware VDI to access mozilla firefox on Ubuntu OS.The VDI Ubuntu OS is on non-persistent mode , the Ubuntu image including users mozilla profile directory will get erased once the user logs out.

They will get new Ubuntu OS from the golden image once they login back and new user mozilla profile will be created.

Whatever user settings is done including bookmarks will not be saved , hence i am exploring to do settings directly on the golden image to save mozilla profile on shared directory (/home/user/Documents).

Kindly suggest how to save mozilla profile on shared directory (/home/user/Documents) or save bookmarks to (/home/user/Documents)

Regards, Rajesh
