Hi! I have a small problem with Firefox that bothers me. I run on a Mac OS X Snow Leopard. When I see an image that I like, I right click and choose "Save Image". I store it in my Pictures folder. When I go to the manager that helps me choose a background, the picture isn't available to use! But when I save a picture in Safari, it is there for me to choose. Why does this happen? Thank you!

When a new tab opens how can I set it so it opens at the far right - not right next to the tab I am working on?

I am trying to watch the church videos from the website on my new mac. Apple told me that I couldn't open it because it was a flash video and that I should download Firefox. It opened up several windows starting from the left to the right, from the right over to the left and then on top of that. creating all kinds of windows. It won't let me close out. I've had to force close it. Help please

Seemingly Odd Behavior of window.open

SCENARIO 1 In Window A: calling window.open('WindowB.html') opens Window B in a new TAB within Window A. This is expected. SCENARIO 2 In Window A calling window.open('Win… (read more)

In Window A:

calling window.open('WindowB.html') opens Window B in a new TAB within Window A. This is expected.

SCENARIO 2

In Window A

calling window.open('WindowB.html','_blank','top=50') opens a brand new window, Window B, this is expected.

Now in Window B call window.open('WindowC.html') and a new tab opens in Window A. The opening of the tab (as opposed to a window) is expected, but having it open the tab in Window A is not expected.

Why would the tab be added to Window A, when the call was made from Window B?

Is there anyway, via javascript, to have it open in Window B?

I can't get firefox to ask me to remember user names and passwords. I got a new computer and now I have to type all my user names and passwords in. I have the little box checked under security settings and there are no exceptions... so it seems it should be working... but it never even asks, no gray bar... etc.

Every time I click on a link, in an email (or in Facebook), unless a Firefox page is already open, I usually get my home page first. Then I have to go back to the email window to access the link again to get the page I wanted from the link. Is there a workaround?
