Can anyone supply updated code for the userChrome.css for restoring Tabs to below Menu bar, Location bar, and Personal Toolbar? The code below was working until I upgraded to 65.0.
/* tabs on bottom */
- navigator-toolbox toolbar:not(#nav-bar):not(#toolbar-menubar) {-moz-box-ordinal-group:10}

Re 66.0.2 Tabs are on bottom but project ~1/3 down from background, into usable screen, blocking tab titles.

Managed to get Tabs on Bottom in all previous updates (including FF65). Carried over ToB with FF66.0.2 update, but the whole line of tabs (including vertical separators) has shifted down about 1/3 of its height such that it bleeds into the immediate viewable screen. If the top of that viewable screen is black, for example, the tab titles are almost unreadable. Any advice? Appreciated.

I have been using Firefox 56 for some time and decided to try out Firefox Quantum this morning. Everything worked pretty smoothly, and I have no complaints about the browser itself. However, for medical reasons, I need to have the tabs underneath the url bar. It seems that, by craning my neck to look up at the tabs, I managed to cause my neck to spasm so forcefully that I had to go to the hospital. The pain was excruciating.
It made me smile that the doctor gave me a prescription for Firefox 56 when I left the emergency room in a neck brace, shot full of muscle relaxants, and a warning to dump Firefox Quantum unless a solution can be found.
I did try to copy and paste chrome CSS code...but that doesn't seem to work on newer versions of Firefox. I hope someone has a solution...in the meantime, I am back to Firefox 56, which puts the tabs at, not above, eye level, without having to cram my browser down to the bottom of my iMac screen.
Go ahead and chortle, sigh.

Just updated to 62.0, ugh. Lost my custom icons and toolbar order. Have tried all the suggestions for moving tabs below bookmarks. Nothing seems to work, including various userchrome.css scripts mentioned in relevant support posts. Anyone have a script/procedure for moving tabs below bookmarks that specifically works for 62.0 (64bit)?

I use Firefox 65 on Windows 10 computer. Since Feb 9 i used instructions found in Answers to the "How to use userChrome.css to move Tabs to the bottom" Question, to: - adjust height of Address, Bookmarks and Tabs lines - underline Bookmarks and Tabs lines - adjust width of Tabs,
but could not find way to adjust Menu-bar line height.
It would be nice to get instructions about rules and list of commands that can be used how to design userChrome.css file.

just installed the latest current Firefox update which has reverted my tabs to the top rather than below my bookmarks toolbar.
suffice to say this is rather annoying as changing the "browser.tabs.onTop" setting in the about:config which l originally did doesnt work any more l did find a userchrome.css file as well that said it would do it on this site but alas my tabs are still above the address bar and not below the bookmarks toolbar where l want them. any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated due to the most recent update causing them to revert back to the top.

The latest FF 65 moved the tabs to the top, where they should not be. The old css workaround doesn't work, and all of the "new" fixes I've tried on my iMac IOS v. 10.13.6 either don't work or put the tabs bar ON TOP of the bookmarks bar. The tabs should be connected to the window they pertain to. Can someone please help me figure this out? I'm not a programmer and really don't want to be, but I really can't stand having the tabs at the top. Thanks for any help.

Firefox used to have one-click menu option for Tabs on Bottom. Bring it back because I REALLY dislike tabs on top.

I think my question is self-explanatory. Only other relevant detail is that i'm over 70 years old. For the reference of Mozilla volunteer coders, I am NOT going to mess around trying to insert blocks of code into obscure places in Firefox in a convoluted attempt to replace an EASY feature that was removed for some weird reason. ~ And PLEASE do not waste your time trying to explain why tabs on top are better. Just accept that although you might prefer tabs on top, I do NOT ! And from what I've seen on the forums, LOTS of other people agree with me.
Firefox has been my main browser for many years, and I have donated money to Mozilla in the past. But no more. If Mozilla deliberately chooses to make personally customizing Firefox more difficult for seniors like me, then I'm going to stop using it and move on to other browsers.
ALSO : While reading the comments and questions from numerous other people who prefer Tabs on Bottom, I've tried many times to click the button "I have this problem too". But it has NEVER worked for me. The tally count, therefore, of those with the same problem is showing as much lower than it really should be.
