For years, the presentation by Ancestry.com has been static, but after the ver 3.6.8 update, the presentation is changed (larger - harder to use). When I check the same website using IE8, it looks just like it always looked. I "cleared my cache" per Firefox FAQ - but nothing changed. For years I have preferred Firefox, but I am going to switch back to IE8 to overcome the presentation problem.

everything else in the world loads fine, but after i updated the other day, Facebook, won't load. this is a problem as i practically live there. subdomains (i.e. TOUCH.facebook.com) but nothing with the root domain. there are no errors or anything (and trust me, it has NOTHING to do with my firewall). it just quickly goes from "tranferring data..." to "done" with a blank result, every time. no matter how many times i refresh or clear the cache. any ideas?

Since upgrading to 3.6.6 I noticed a severe degradation of performance on a page with Flash. It takes about 10-20 sec for Firefox to open a new link from such a page or perform other actions. Scrolling the page out of an embedded Flash object frees up CPU and makes it normal back again. Before the upgrade I did not have such a severe problem with the same page, although Flash did take substantial CPU power to render the animation.

I would like this problem fixed or learn how to downgrade to 3.5.x (not sure which version I had)

I tend to run Firefox with 20+ tabs open. I love the program. But sometimes I'll have a tab open and can't figure out that it's draining memory or resources. It would be awesome if FF had a feature like task manager in Windows where I could pull up a list of the tabs and see which are sucking up memory and CPU cycles. I know one of them is doing this right now and can't figure out which one. I've ballooned out over the day to a gig of ram being used by FF and 25% or so of the cpu. If I knew which tab it was I'd close it down.

There are numerous reports on these forums of problems between Firefox and Flash with videos failing to play on certain websites but not others. I have found that by reverting to Firefox 3.6.3 these problems go away. This suggests that the problem is with the plugin-container.exe process which handles Flash at vsns 3.6.4 and above. Has anyone else had the same experience? Any Firefox developers care to comment?
