I been using the vpn on windows 10 and it was working for a bit but all of the sudden is doesn't want to launch. I click and click and nothing happens. I'd uninstalled, and reboot and still doesn't launch! What do you think my problem is?

If the VPN is available for Windows 10, does that mean it's available for everything *up to* Windows 10? Or does that mean availability *begins* with Windows 10 and will only be available for Win10 updates & newer versions of Windows beyond Win10?

I know this is probably better handled by Mozilla support directly and not by volunteers, but I legitimately, uh, can't seem to find a way to cancel my Firefox Private Network subscription, and I don't know where else to turn.

First I tried the "cancel subscription" button in the renewal email, and that just redirects me to my account settings (accounts.firefox.com/settings) with no option to cancel it.

I've clicked the "Our support team is here to help you" link in the renewal email and it tries to send me to accounts.firefox.com/support which redirects to accounts.firefox.com/settings

I've followed the instructions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-cancel-my-subscription-firefox-private-ne, and similarly, I just end up my account settings (accounts.firefox.com/settings), but there is no "subscriptions" area where I can cancel the subscription

I've tried falling back to contacting Mozilla as discussed in this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/help-i-still-have-questions, and still it just redirects me to my firefox account settings (accounts.firefox.com/settings) with seemingly no option to contact anyone

I'm currently in FF Dev 74 and I've tried disabling sync or signing in from a different browser (Brave) to test if it's some weird state issue between my browser and my account page, but that doesn't solve it.

I've tried revoking my FPN session from my account settings and then signing back in to see if that triggered some magic subscriptions area to pop up, but still nothing.

All roads just lead to accounts.firefox.com/settings, and the only options on there are "account picture, display name, secondary email, account recovery, 2fa, devices and apps, password, delete account"

I'm not quite sure what else to try at this point but any help would be appreciated

Hello there,

I joined the waitlist before and have received the invitation email. However I my payment methods could not be processed while I was trying to subscribe to this service.

I am residing within the USA and I have tried 3 different cards issued by banks within the US, but it kept prompting an error message "Your transaction could not be processed. Please verify your credit card information and try again". I am sure the card information I typed in is correct and the banks do not deny the transactions (they didn't even receive the transactions).

I really appreciate any further instructions and solutions.

Mobile apps for LAN devices

Just installed the VPN for my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, and had to immediately turn it off because with it on, I can no longer use mobile apps for the many networked audio and video devices around my home. A couple of examples: the Roon music server app for my NAS drive cannot find the Roon core server running on my desktop PC, and the control apps for my home theater receiver can't find the receiver on the network. Turning the VPN off resolves this issue.

There doesn't seem to be any options in the VPN app itself to address issues like this. Is there something I can do in my router settings, perhaps, to allow the VPN to function when sending and receiving requests from the Internet, but allows traffic on my LAN to pass between devices unhindered?

Firefox Private Network VPN is not working.

When I click on the VPN Icon in the Windows Notification Tray next to the clock, the VPN Icon disappears.

Next, I went to the Start Menu and clicked on Firefox Private Network Icon in Program, instead of opening it, the Icon re-appeared in the Notification Tray. When I click on the Icon once again, it disappears.

So, the VPN is not working and I am not able to access the settings as the Icon disappears every time I click on it.

P.S. I have tried to ask this question in a Private Message from accounts.firefox.com/support for the past 48 hours or so, but every time I click "send," I receive this message:

"Hmm, we're having trouble with our system. We're working on fixing it for you and apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later."

When I attempt to open the Firefox VPN app on Windows 10, I can see the icon (in "off" mode) in my system tray, but the window with the on/off button and settings no longer appears. If I mouse over the icon in the system tray, it disappears.

It does not, however, disappear from the Task Manager, where it shows that it is it still running (at 0% CPU usage).

Is there something I'm missing? This didn't happen when I first installed the app. I've tried reinstalling a few times, and now this just seems to be the new normal.

Use the app on Android with no problems on the same account.

I received an invite to try Mozilla VPN, I am based in New Zealand and your FAQs say the service is now available here.

But for iOS the App Store here only features Firefox Private VPN. Is this the same app with earlier branding? Is it different to Mozilla VPN? I notice you also have seperate product pages. So I'm unclear which I should use.

Hi, I tried to add the VPN app to my Android tablet and when I try to log in I get the error "Invalid Parameter: metricsContext.utmTerm".
