I can't connect to my printer since installing Mozilla VPN on my desktop yesterday. I've read the article about how to turn it on/off but I can't get to where the box pops up so I can use the toggle switch. Apparently, I need to turn it off so I can change a setting (Network settings - Local network access).

Please help me. Thank you, Katie

I love the work that Mozilla does, but man, this is bad guys. I paid for and installed the VPN and some websites were getting blocked, so I decided to turn it off by simply clicking the Mozilla VPN logo -> disconnect. Then I tried to load the page again, and waited .... and waited... Turning the VPN back on restored the connection. I did this at least a dozen more times, to confirm that I couldn't just "disconnect" from the VPN. I understand that there is a "Killswitch" in a VPN intended to make sure that when a VPN connection is briefly interrupted, internet traffic doesn't flow around it, exposing your IP. That's well and good, but that killswitch should be disabled when I actively disable the VPN.

Weird, but ok, whatever. I'll just quit the program. Nope -> no internet. The only way I can go online is by turning Mozilla VPN back on, and then connect through the VPN. Then, and ONLY then can I access the internet at all.

Ok, so now I'm thinking it's time to uninstall this program from my computer entirely. Surely THAT will fix whatever damage it's done? Nope. Killswitch STILL persists. Even after I uninstall the program from my computer, the leftover killswitch is STILL making it impossible for me to access the internet outside of its VPN. The only way I can regain internet access is to re-install the program. I've power-cycled (rebooted) my machine several times, reinstalled and uninstalled the program again. Over and over again it's made clear: My machine can no longer access the internet in any way other than through Mozilla VPN. My system is effectively being held hostage by mozilla VPN and I can't turn this off. This is not ok. Please tell me how to fix this.

E: I should add that there's a good chance this is Apple's fault, since I'm using Big Sur, which has tons of other problems. I don't care who's fault this is, I just want my computer back to how it was, and clearly there's a problem with mozilla VPNs kill switch. Please tell me how I can disable it.

System info: OSX big sure 11.4 Firefox version 91.0 (64-bit)

Edited for brevity, and to note solution below will also affect other VPNs you may have already set up. You'll need to follow the instructions below, remove your other VPNs, and then reinstall them. Will it then be safe to re-install MozillaVPN again? I don't know and am not comfortable taking that risk. My system is back to how it was before downloading it, and it's going to stay that way for a while.

I am interested in finding out if the Mozilla VPN is safe to use P2P and Torrent without a report generating to the telecom company? All questions and answers I can find so far are close to a year old and state that this VPN does not have the features to compete with known and reliable VPN services. Just looking for an update to this. Any and all information pertaining to this would be helpful.

Installed Mozilla VPN on my Mac. Went on to the website and set up an active user account and paid for the service. when i start the app, I have never been able to login to it, it just keeps circling at "Waiting for sign in and subscription confirmation". It opens a browser window and has me sign in to the mozilla website. I do. I receive a "Please return to the Mozilla VPN app to complete setup" so I do exactly that. and I am right back where I started at ""Waiting for sign in..." etc. If i click "Cancel and try again"...it just does the same thing every time.

Hello all.

My system updated to Windows 11. Initially, everything was fine. Now, the VPN will fail saying there is a background service error. I've tried manually starting the service and I get a path not found error. Has anyone else seen this? Have a fix? I'm assuming Microsoft either broke something, or is actively preventing this from operating.

Hoping it will get ironed out before the full release of Windows 11 but thought I'd ask here in case anyone had more info on the issue.

Thank you

The Mozilla app on my phone has been inactive, in terms of me finding out how it is working, what I can do with it etc. I dont understand why I didnt have a mob banking issue with it in the 30 day money backguarantee period. I purchased it on 17 9 21. I paid £59.88 per year. It has been very time consuming trying to resolve issues via my bank. Have you tried phoning your bank recently? Ive not been able to use my mobile banking app since 20 10 21. Ive had to wait to get through to my bank twice now. I believe I need my mob banking app more than VPN. My bank is adamant the issue is with VPN hiding my location. Text messages from the bank will not get through to me. Please disable VPN A refund will be appreciated, too. Thank you for your help. Ordinarily very happy with Mozilla . Im sure many people happy with VPN but for me it has been troublesome. A prompt response will be appreciated. I need to do some banking on a daily basis. Best regards Trish Cresswell
