I've updated Firefox for Android to 79.0.4. I like the UI changes, but I cannot go to the about:config page. I get a "Cannot Complete Request" message.

I need to be able to disable javascript in my browser completely. It used to be in "about:config". Now there is no other way to disable it.

This is abslolutely critical. Javascript is the most frequent attack vector to hack phones through malicious websites. If Mozilla does not allow to disable javascript, it knowingly puts its users in danger.

On android with past browsers I am able to install a self signed certificate by Adguard which acts as a proxy for HTTPS traffic. Firefox won't trust HTTPS traffic without the cert. In the new Firefox Fenix browser though it will not install. It opens a page at http://127.0.0.1:1118/adguard.crt and nothing happens.

HOW IN THE H*** CAN YOU SUDDENLY UPDATE THIS APP AND PULL FEATURES LIKE EXTENSIONS WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE END USER AND AT LEAST GIVING THEM THE OPTION OF OPTING OUT OF THE UPDATE. I GET YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO UPDATE YOUR PRODUCT, BUT NO WARNING?!? FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS I HAVE USED MOZILLA/FIREFOX BROWSERS BECAUSE OF THE USEFULNESS OF EXTENSIONS. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? WHAT IS YOU PLAN HERE? IS THIS HOW IT ENDS? YOU SAY EXTENSIONS MAYBE BACK BY LATE 2020! ARE YOU INSANE?!? I'LL FIND A NEW BROWSER!

On the regular release version of Firefox on Android, u2f is still disabled by default, but can be enabled (and generally seems to work) in the about:config settings. The about:config page is not available in Firefox preview, but I would appreciate being able to login to websites that require u2f keys from Firefox preview some other way. Can this be enabled by default, or as a switch in Settings?

I have been hacked several times by inserting www.domain.com into the list of scripts and cookies. This is different than domain.com which is legitimate. I have been able to bypass it with Ublock rules as to what domain * can originate from. With all rules being exact wording with no wild symbols, I am able to block domain starting with www.

All the sites are https and are considered secure by the browser.

This problem is not unique to Firefox. I just have better control over it in Firefox. Chrome and its variants fall for the same thing.

Even with this being a targeted attack on me, it is still a glaring security issue for browsers.

I am hoping that this post gets seen by somebody who can do something about this security issue. I am not expecting an immediate fix for me. At least I know to look for it.
