I've been Firefox user since first available. Is it true what people are saying that Mozilla is collecting user website visit data and will soon begin banning people from using Firefox if they visit websites that differ politically from Mozilla's? All big tech companies are doing this and my son said Mozilla issued press release saying people who don't agree with Mozilla politics should be ”punished”. I'm in my mid 70s and trying to protect myself from problems.

I have added custom certificate authority to the Android system certificates store. But it seems that Firefox doesn't use native store unlike other browsers do. I have to click to advance and allow every time I visit our "unsafe" university web.

Why there is no option to use native Android certificates store or to install CA into browser? That's quite security issue.

I am frustrated that the new Firefox is not working because they are unable to code to allow the use of Bitwarden.

As a person that requires a password storage that I can trust, I will probably leave Firefox because it does not allow the use of Bitwarden.

No mas!

I recently installed some add ons from the firefox browser, and they proved to be very useful for me. But they ask for the permission to access all the data for all the websites. This is something which scares me. Is it safe to give these add ons access to data, and then use browser for purposes like online banking.

Expecting help from your firefox team. Thanks

In both Firefox for Android and Firefox Nightly, there is dedicated UI for clearing the history, and an option in the preferences to enable clearing history on invocations of Quit

Preview buries this functionality in the deep menus, and makes it a very tap-heavy and latent operation.

Why was this feature omitted?

Unfortunately there are alot of website that are requesting access to my location, this is really annoying me..

I don't want to have to deny access on a per website basis. WHERE is the global switch? Or the option in about:config? This was not a problem before the major update that ruined every body's life. I do realize Mozilla is working out an incredible amount of bugs, however not having an option to disable this is frustrating. The WWW is already a frustrating experience with all the Pop Ups one must navigate to simply view a website. This is somewhat mitigated with the desktop version of Firefox with it's must more customizable approach.

I have the latest version of Firefox for Android 10.

In the previous version of Firefox Beta for Android downloaded from Google Play Store, I could toggle the esni option to true, under about:config. Now this version 85.0.0-beta.2 the option is removed. I have enabled trr.mode to level 3, also the trr uri is unchanged and using Mozilla Cloudflare DNS. But when I use Cloudflares ESNI checker, Firefox Beta fails the ESNI test. Why was this option the network security esni mode? Or is under a different name? This issue is also present in the Firefox Nightly Build for Android from Google Play Store.

I updated to android 11 on my Google pixel 3a a few days ago and had to change to 3 gesture to enable screenshotting on my device. When I try screenshotting in private on firefox, i get this message saying 'this action isn't allowed by the app or your organization'

I enabled screenshot in private mode on the app I also don't have a '.nomedia' file in the pictures folder of my internal storage to delete, a suggestion other users with this problem found resolved their issue

Google support says it's not a problem with the update. Can anyone please help?

If you install for example Edge or Opera and long press on some text in Firefox you get (in the case of Opera) a "Search privately" instead of Search with Firefox (it has become hidden in the overflow menu).

Is this something Firefox allows or is it Android? To me this is a takeover of another app which Google doesn't allow so I'm guessing it is either an Android built-in feature or in Firefox. Makes me want to instantly uninstall both Firefox and the browser taking over the menu.

Could someone shed some light on this?

I love being able to to run the Multi Account Container on my desktop. Currently it does not look like it is available in the add on's for Android phones tablets or Chromebooks. Is this in the works, and or is there a tentative time-frame for release. I would love to have everything streamlined and identical from the desktop to the a mobile device. Currently there are very few options to even choose from and this restricts the level of security and the ability to seamlessly move from desktop to mobile. Thank you for your time.

I'm not sure of where to post feature requests and I can't find a roadmap for the product, but here I go:

Coming from Firefox Focus, I liked the feature that all data is deleted on app exit.

While launching Firefox Preview in private session with a home screen shortcut is very good in offering a choice (which I do take advantage of), this is only applied when directly tapping the shortcut and not when a 'custom tab' is opened by an app. For example, opening an article link in an app, Preview currently only able to open in a standard session, remembering all of the data received... Can I make a feature request that mimics the behavior of Firefox Focus, but as a option for users to enable. i.e. All 'custom tabs' are opened in private sessions, destroying all data on exit.

With Firefox Focus now being shelved for Preview, this feature provides users the performance gains from Preview and the privacy benefits of Focus.
