Hi! I Install rooted firmware here: http://en.comebuy.com/developer-firefox-os-open-c.html. The main reason was to install Russian keyboard. Then I compiled and installed Gaia 1.3 with Russian keyboard. All Correct.
I learned that the new official firmware from ZTE already includes Russian keyboard. And I wanted to try it. However, I get an error when trying to flash the phone using sd card or Open_C_upgrade_Tool. Error is "E:failed to verify whole-file signature E:signature verification failed Installation aborted"
How i may restore default firmware?

I would like to know if you have a "Page Set Up" application? I'm printing what we call "detail" sheets from my MLS software provided by Innovia. About a month ago the document headers and footers began printing on the pages. Innovia Support said to go to File, Page Set Up in Firefox and eliminate the headers and footers, but I can't find how to do this in your browser. (the problem is that it prints the name of the document and the date it prints and says "page 1 of x" which isn't true because sometimes I'm printing 20 pages, but they're different homes so having it count the pages is not good. Plus it takes up unwanted space and makes my print smaller on the page.) I've been using Firefox with this software for over two years now and it wasn't a problem until about a month ago. I often like watching videos and movies, current affairs, clips on you tube nine msn, yahoo and other sites and my video player or movie freezes for short and long periods and sometimes doesn't start at all. I don't have much experience with add on's or plugins but have been told this may be the problem, I have tried disabling add on's leaving shock wave flash player 11.7.700.224, adobe acrobat PDF plug in, silver light plug in 5.1.20125.0, java deployment toolkit 7.0.210.11 10.21.2.11 and java (TM) platform SE 7 U21 10.21.2.11. as well as leaving all add on's and plug ins run but it still doesn't fix the freezing problem please help or advise what are best options for peak performance of videos, clips and movies. On my ZTE Open, adb debug is _disabled_ I was trying to update it via "More Info" menu, but it never worked. So I tried to update it via SD Update using the ztems rom [0]
It just bricked my phone and now, every time I try to update it via SD card using any ZTE Open rom (I tried with several roms), including the Movistar Mexico's one [1] I'm getting errors like this:
E:failed to verify whole-file signature E:signature verification failed Installation aborted.
No matter if I delete the first three lines of /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script, I'm getting the same kind of errors.
Please, any ideas about this?

Earlier on the same video either it is from you tube or from any other cite when ever the pointer of the mouse is placed on the running video the real player button "Download this video" used to be appeared and it used to become useful to down load for me. Now when the Fire Fox is started interrupting I terminated the version and re-installed version 19 as the set up was preserved already. Now the same button is not being displayed in the installed Fire Fox. Now I am downloading them through internet explorer which is containing the same facility.

I have Firefos OS 1.0.1.0-01003 and I have seen that Firefox 1.1 has been released, I try to check for updates and it says that my system is up to date. I read somewhere that rebooting the phone solves it but that didn't work.
Why my system doesn't detect the update? Do I have to call my service provider or manufacturer about that?

Not-quite-happy user of ZTE Open C here. This happened as follows: I've downloaded the rooted firmware from comebuy.com. The main reason was to install Russian keyboard, which I managed to do by building and flashing Gaia. The Gaia was from v1.4 branch, and some apps didn't work properly (camera & keyboard, in particular). Then I did the fatal mistake, it seems - instead of returning to v1.3 I decided to build & flash Gecko from v1.4. Almost everything worked fine except that I hit some bug where SIM card wasn't working at the start but switching airplane mode on&off fixed the situation. However, after a reboot, the screen just turned off right after showing the splash image of the fox. At that point, the system still booted into normal mode, so I tried to recompile Gaia again and flash it onto the device. And then only the recovery mode became available =\
Then I tried various things, and the current state is:
- recovery & bootloader modes work
- updates can't be applied, failing with 'E: signature verification failed' for both rooted and official firmware
- fastboot flash doesn't work, printing the message "FAILED (remote: flash write failure)" every time
- adb shell doesn't work - first it was barking about the wrong permissions (- exec '/system/bin/sh' failed permission denied (13)), by now I have erased the /system partition altogether using fastboot because adb push printed an error about no space left on device, and I thought maybe erasing some partitions will help (that was way too naive, I must admit...)
Now I wish to return to the original firmware, either from ZTE website or comebuy.com. The most adequate way seems to be applying an update from recovery mode, but the verification failure has to be circumvented somehow.
Any thoughts?

I don't know why this has happened but ever since my Firefox upgraded all YouTube videos have been playing super low quality by default. When I first installed Firefox months ago this wasn't a problem. Everything played HD by default. But every time Firefox upgrades itself the videos go down in quality. And especially since the OS upgrade everything is playing super low quality by default. How do I get them to just play HD by default again?
