Hello, I have alcatel onetouch fire e with firefox 2.0.0.0. Last weak it notified me that there is a new firmware available and I downloaded but when I press install it just says prepare installation.... Also I tried to reset it but I press the button and nothing happens.... Thanks in advance

Hi, I've got a ZTE Open C that I purchased from JB Hi-Fi in Australia (unlocked). I've been using the phone since December last year, and it's still on the stock version 1.0. Whenever I check for an update, it tells me my phone is up to date. I know it isn't. Why am I not getting updates? Cheers, Anthony

Hello, have not played recently with my flame. Yesterday wanted to install 2.2 as I was on 2.0 before. But I couldn't do it. Trying both Base image v18D_nightly_v4 and Base image v18D.zip after flashing gaia 2.2 in the first case it didn't even boot and in the second case it was misbehaving badly, no icons, can do almost nothing. In both cases had to fastboot reflash to get it running.
So is there a 2.2 base image with last updates I can flash and later continue getting stable OTA updates?

hello, im using a cherry mobile ace, os 1.3 update channel: release-spreadtrum I've been reading the forums about updates and i followed all the instructions. After i clicked on update, it said checking for update... then said there was an error when checking updates. i followed another forum in which advice to reset the phone of some guy using intex. Anyway i did that too, and the same thing appeared. I also read about contacting the manufacturer but hey i live in the Philippines all manufacturer are shit. I would really like it could help, but if it cant be done, i would also like to ask "IS IT POSSIBLE TO BUILD THE NEWEST VERSION ONTO MY PHONE WHICH IS OS 1.3 AND HOW". well if you cant fix the update then based on reasoning it might help if you have a guide for building on firefox os 1.3, and if you say you do have a building guide, my reply is " I'VE read it and its for android and pc".

I'm running the Alcatel onetouch fire E. The latest version is 2.0.0 on my phone. That version is almost a year old. Is there a possibility to update to a later version without the OEM manufacturer? I'm also fine with removing the OEM FFOS and replacing it with the 'original' FFOS.
