Firefox Lockwise Support Forum

Today I noticed all my saved usernames/passwords had disappeared. The password/Lockwise page said "No synced logins found." Bookmarks etc are still OK. The "logins.json" file appears to be intact (was able to read using Python code). The "key4.db" file also seems to be intact as I was able to create a new, clean profile, copied both of these files over and then was able to see all my passwords, which I then exported into a CSV file. Then I enabled the password import feature (as described [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-login-data-file|here]). However, the password import fails to import any passwords. The result shows "Import Complete", but zero "New logins added" and "Errors: 165 (not imported)". See screenshot. Nothing happens when I click on "View detailed Import Summary" or "Done". At the top of the page it asks to "Please enter your Primary Password to view saved logins & passwords". As I click on "Login" it just takes me right back to the empty saved passwords page. Something seems to be seriously broken here. Any ideas how to fix? This is Firefox/92.0 (Linux x86_64) FxSync/1.94.0.20210903235534.desktop . As an aside, the very handy firefox_decrypt tool was able to spit out a list of my passwords as well. This was very comforting since recovering ~165 passwords would obviously be a major hassle. I installed Firefox Lockwise on my smartphone. Installation went ok. After a certain time the app locks and asks a device pattern, password or pincode to unlock. I did not get any request to make a pin code when installing. How can this problem be resolved ?

Lockwise was working perfectly up until about a week ago on my Iphone SE.. I went to click the key to retrive a password one day, and it said I needed to log-in.. Okay, it logged me out, no biig deal.. But it keeps saying my password is incorrect. I go on my PC and login with the same password, no problem, so i know the password is correct. I tried it at least 5 times, multiple days, and I still can't login on the app on my phone. It lets me log in on the browser on my phone with the same password no problem as well.. What is going on with the app???

I just tried to save a commonly used login and password to Lockwise, and it keeps telling me that an error has occurred, and locks up everything. Can you please tell me what I'm doing wrong ? Thanks a bunch in advance !

Hello, I got a problem for about few weeks. I got many saved passwords in FF lockwise and I can not see them, nor to export them. This is happening in desktop. In mobile I do not have problem. Could you please help?

In the last month or so I've noticed that after clicking "Passwords" Lockwise takes a good 30 seconds to open.

I think that the delay is caused by synchronization? I use Firefox (with Lockwise) on multiple devices, principally Linux and Android, so that could be the reason.

Is it possible to obtain a list of all devices on which I have installed Firefox? I could remove those no longer used if that helps.

I was looking through when some of my older passwords were last changed and I noticed that all of the passwords saved in Lockwise were accessed on the same date. Even passwords where I know I haven't used them in years, Lockwise says that they were last used on the same day in August. Is anyone else getting this issue?

My lockwise account (vjaykmr_k@yahoo.com) is locked mentioning that a confirmation email was returned.

 The confirmation email we sent to vjaykmr_k@yahoo.com was returned and we’ve locked your account to protect your Firefox data.

My email is active and I do not recall receiving any confirmation email from Firefox. How can I unlock my account? I also did not activate 2 factor authentication but it is asking for verification code.

Hi everyone,

Just got the news in my inbox that the Lockwise service would be merged fully with Firefox soon, implying the end of mobile apps support. An app that I found to be highly valuable even though quite simple feature-wise.

Now I'm wondering, will Firefox suggest passwords all over android like it used to be the case with Lockwise? Or will it simply be a browser feature, with no feature advantage compared to competing browsers?

While maintaining an app is hard work, these kind of services are what make Firefox such a great overall user experience Mozilla, please don't ditch them.

Last week all my firefox saved passwords disappeared and I don't know why? I had been using firefox for personal use so I am not upset about losing most of those passwords. I am reentering the things I need as I access them. How do I find out why they disappeared so I can avoid that happening again? The only thing I did was download lockwise, then the next time I went to a website that required a password it didn't fill it? So I looked and they, my logins and passwords, were all gone. I looked around on support forums and I tried the "they're in another profile," solution but I only have one profile so that didn't work. I love my computer but I am just a user, not a geek. Can someone help me?

Working with Linux Ubuntu 20.04. Synced on.

When I go to settings->passwords and a tab opens the "about:logins" page with "Firefox Lockwise" no logins are listed. Nonetheless the usernames/passwords do work when I visit web pages. Also they are visible if I use mobile (Android) and Windows.

I have had this problem for a few of months. I was hoping after some update, the fix would come but it has not. Recently I tried to 'Refresh Firefox', did not fix. No add-ons that mess with logins/passwords.

I know firefox is now transitioning from Firefox Lockwise, but I have not seen a new interface.

Please feedback.
