Lockwise was working perfectly up until about a week ago on my Iphone SE.. I went to click the key to retrive a password one day, and it said I needed to log-in.. Okay, it logged me out, no biig deal.. But it keeps saying my password is incorrect. I go on my PC and login with the same password, no problem, so i know the password is correct. I tried it at least 5 times, multiple days, and I still can't login on the app on my phone. It lets me log in on the browser on my phone with the same password no problem as well.. What is going on with the app???

Hello,

I installed Firefox Lockwise on my smartphone. Installation went ok. After a certain time the app locks and asks a device pattern, password or pincode to unlock. I did not get any request to make a pin code when installing. How can this problem be resolved ?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Last week all my firefox saved passwords disappeared and I don't know why? I had been using firefox for personal use so I am not upset about losing most of those passwords. I am reentering the things I need as I access them. How do I find out why they disappeared so I can avoid that happening again? The only thing I did was download lockwise, then the next time I went to a website that required a password it didn't fill it? So I looked and they, my logins and passwords, were all gone. I looked around on support forums and I tried the "they're in another profile," solution but I only have one profile so that didn't work. I love my computer but I am just a user, not a geek. Can someone help me?

Today I noticed all my saved usernames/passwords had disappeared. The password/Lockwise page said "No synced logins found." Bookmarks etc are still OK. The "logins.json" file appears to be intact (was able to read using Python code). The "key4.db" file also seems to be intact as I was able to create a new, clean profile, copied both of these files over and then was able to see all my passwords, which I then exported into a CSV file. Then I enabled the password import feature (as described [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-login-data-file|here]). However, the password import fails to import any passwords. The result shows "Import Complete", but zero "New logins added" and "Errors: 165 (not imported)". See screenshot. Nothing happens when I click on "View detailed Import Summary" or "Done". At the top of the page it asks to "Please enter your Primary Password to view saved logins & passwords". As I click on "Login" it just takes me right back to the empty saved passwords page. Something seems to be seriously broken here. Any ideas how to fix? This is Firefox/92.0 (Linux x86_64) FxSync/1.94.0.20210903235534.desktop . As an aside, the very handy firefox_decrypt tool was able to spit out a list of my passwords as well. This was very comforting since recovering ~165 passwords would obviously be a major hassle. The sync logs at "about:sync-log" look something like this: 1632516770753 Sync.LogManager DEBUG Flushing file log 1632516770765 Sync.LogManager DEBUG Log cleanup threshold time: 1631652770765 1632516770997 Sync.LogManager DEBUG Done deleting files. 1632516917976 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG FxAccountsWebChannel message received: fxaccounts:fxa_status 1632516917977 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG fxa_status received 1632516917977 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG service: 30b11ae57025e70b 1632516917977 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG is private browsing: false 1632517314032 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG FxAccountsProfileClient: Requested profile 1632517314032 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG getOAuthToken enter 1632517314032 FirefoxAccounts TRACE getCachedToken returning cached token 1632517314032 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG getOAuthToken returning a cached token 1632517314033 Services.Common.RESTRequest DEBUG GET request to https://profile.accounts.firefox.com/v1/profile 1632517314261 Services.Common.RESTRequest DEBUG GET https://profile.accounts.firefox.com/v1/profile 304 1632517435529 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG FxAccountsProfileClient: Requested profile 1632517435529 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG getOAuthToken enter 1632517435529 FirefoxAccounts TRACE getCachedToken returning cached token 1632517435530 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG getOAuthToken returning a cached token 1632517435530 Services.Common.RESTRequest DEBUG GET request to https://profile.accounts.firefox.com/v1/profile 1632517435791 Services.Common.RESTRequest DEBUG GET https://profile.accounts.firefox.com/v1/profile 304 1632517442691 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG FxAccountsWebChannel message received: fxaccounts:fxa_status 1632517442692 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG fxa_status received 1632517442692 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG service 1632517442692 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG is private browsing: false 1632517670751 Sync.Service DEBUG User-Agent: Firefox/92.0 (Linux x86_64) FxSync/1.94.0.20210903235534.desktop 1632517670752 Sync.Service INFO Starting sync at 2021-09-24 16:07:50 in browser session Gq21vMX9yJrw 1632517670752 Sync.Service DEBUG In sync: should login. 1632517670752 Sync.Service INFO User logged in successfully - verifying login. 1632517670754 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG FxAccountsProfileClient: Requested profile 1632517670754 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG getOAuthToken enter 1632517670755 FirefoxAccounts TRACE getCachedToken returning cached token 1632517670755 FirefoxAccounts DEBUG getOAuthToken returning a cached token 1632517670755 FirefoxAccounts INFO Can't get keys; no key material or tokens available 1632517670757 Sync.SyncAuthManager DEBUG unlockAndVerifyAuthState: user declined to unlock master-password 1632517670758 Services.Common.RESTRequest DEBUG GET request to https://profile.accounts.firefox.com/v1/profile 1632517670760 Sync.Status DEBUG Status.login: service.master_password_locked => service.master_password_locked 1632517670760 Sync.Status DEBUG Status.service: error.login.failed => error.login.failed 1632517670760 Sync.Service DEBUG Fetching unlocked auth state returned service.master_password_locked 1632517670761 Sync.ErrorHandler ERROR Sync encountered a login error 1632517670761 Sync.SyncScheduler DEBUG Clearing sync triggers and the global score. 1632517670762 Sync.SyncScheduler DEBUG Couldn't log in: master password is locked. 1632517670762 Sync.SyncScheduler DEBUG Starting client-initiated backoff.

I am using Lockwise in firefox on all my computers and really happy with how it works there, I also have it on my android phone and the integration is really smooth, however I can't find a way to install it on chrome, is that intentional..? I've been a firefox user since way back, and use other Mozilla products too like thunderbird, I am not going anywhere, but from time to time I need to use chrome or edge and having to find my auto generated passwords in firefox and copy pasting them into the other browser, is ... real annoying xD

Firefox Lockwise isn't saving the entire URL when I save a password. It cuts it off after the .com. This isn't working with several sites I use. I even tried to manually create a password and it still only saved the URL up to the .com even though I put the entire URL in. Why does it do this? When will it be fixed?

I have been using Lockwise on 2x iOS devices for several years. Recently I am finding it forgets my account, requiring me to sign in to my Firefox account using my email address, password and 2FA authentication code, rather than just my fingerprint (iPad) or passcode (iPhone). This is occurring with increasing frequency, to the point of it being almost daily now.

One device is iOS 14.4.1 and the other is iOS 14.5 Public Beta. No issues with either device other than this. Can anyone suggest how I can assist figuring out why this happens?

Is there anyway to "sign out" of Firefox Lockwise, without closing my browser or signing out of my Firefox account completely? Just out of Lockwise? There are many times when I would like to leave my browser up and running so that I do not have to reload all my tabs each time I come back to my computer, but I would like to be able to sign out of Lockwise so that someone couldn't access my credentials. Can the ability to sign out of Lockwise be added as a feature request if it is not currently an option?

Also the ability to set an amount of time before being auto logged out of Lockwise, and 2FA/MFA would be nice too. :) If there is a place to request these features would anyone be able to provide me that link as well please?

Thanks! Dan

Hi All,

I'm using Firefox v91.0. I have all my passwords saved in Lockwise. I have Trend security enabled. When i go to my browser, i have to check the box "Ask to save logins and passwords for web site" each time i start up my laptop. Yesterday however, when i go to this, I'm unable to check the box. When i click on it, it flicks between showing "Autofill logins and passwords" and "Suggest and generate strong passwords" being normal and greyed out. But i can't check the box.

All my logins are still saved and i dont have private browsing enabled.

It's really weird because i've not made any changes whatsoever. I've looked at the resources/solutions here and can't find it...any help would be appreciated.

Thanks....

Last week I could login to the New York Times website by accesings my saved passwords in Lockwise using the URL "https://myaccount.nytimes.com" . The NYT changed their website. This week, "use saved logins" by right clicking in the email box cannot be accessed this week (text is gray in Lockwise). I tried a variety of URLs and nothing worked. Any ideas. I still can access the webpage by typing in my email and password, but that is a pain.

Ok, maybe I'm totally missing something. Lockwise is supposed to be Firefox's password manager. Great that's integrated into the browser. I opened the "Logins and Passwords" page and found all my previously saved logins. Great that they retained those for me. However I was shocked to see that I could plainly view the saved and copy the passwords (by clicking the eyeball). This does not seem like a very safe, or private default mode. After install/upgrade of Firefox it should have them hidden. Is there some way to disable this? In the future I think that Firefox should have passwords hidden after install. I would submit this as a feature request but I am unable to find where to do that.
